4 - 2.50PM - CHALLENGE STAKES - 1000 METRES
Of $150000 and $2300 trophies.  1st $90000 and trophies of $1800 to owner $250 to trainer $250 to jockey, 2nd $28500, 3rd $14300, 4th $6800, 5th $3800, 6th $2200, 7th $2200, 8th $2200. Starter Subsidy: $200 for non-prize earning runners. Standard Weight for Age. (GROUP 2). No Allowances for apprentices.  Field Limit: 18 + 4 EM

Tidy field - for some reason I was thinking Typhoon Zed had been retired.

Honest Truth, Strkyer, Swift Alliance all look strong hopes. I like Strkyer's form in the spring - be interesting to see what sort of path they are plotting. Is he a sprinter - could he get a mile.

STRYKER has been trialling the house down but this is a tough race, NIGHTOFTHEGENERAL shouldnt get much weight and has ton of ability will be hard to keep out, Swift Alliance is probably the class runner.

Hopfully Stryker goes tot he stakes race, should be winning that.

Not really Tev, more beaten for speed, settled well back, pushed along a fairway out to hit the line ok without ever getting close.
