An upgraded form service was launched this morning on the Victorian and NSW web sites - will be interested in your views, and I feel confident you won't be backward in providing them

It looks pretty good. No way for me will it substitute for Premium Form, though.
I'd like to try the video clips, but can't get a reply email so I can log in.

Thats pretty good for free form.
One thing I've never understood with greyhound form (and the TAB isn't the only site that does it). Why include the weight of the greyhound at its previous runs if you don't know what weight it will be for this race ?
It may explain why a greyhound ran poorly or well previously but it doesn't really help you for the upcoming race.
Haven't had a chance to check out the gallops form. Will it be similar to that on Racenet or are there some added features ?
Would they have the weight for the up coming race when the form guide is being finalised ? Don't they weigh them as they are going out for the race ?

all dogs are weighed upon kenneling prior to the race meeting starting.

Greyhounds are weighed when kennelled (usually 45 to 90 mins before first race). The weights are usually displayed somewhere on course, wouldn't be that hard to upload them onto a database somewhere so we can all see them.

Technically it's free form if you have a TAB a/c, but in reality the take out rates form all bets goes to providing the form, so it's not "free" At first glance it appears that you can't scrolll through all the runners & their form without individually tabbing (no pun intended) on each runner. I preferred the old format but concede there is more info with the new format. May take a bit of getting used too.

You're a tough marker, Kato - but you're dead right. Some might prefer the money spent went towards giving us true dividends rather than the rounded rip-offs.

Near the top of the form ( left ) there is a + if you click on that it opens all the form.

Kato. authorized - there's a "+' button at the very top of the page in the top left in the darker grey shaded area - click that and all runners expand - hope that helps

why have race replays highlighted but when you click they say we are unable to televise.
the entire restrictions on broadcast and content rights is the crux of the major problems with this industry.
all has to do with friggen tabcorp and there greed.

Just having a first glance...in looking at R3 Reisling Stakes Rosehill. Unraced runner Fit And Ready comes up top on SkyForm Rating, Best Form [12 month], Distance, Class Time Rating. How's that work

Steve a very interesting question and one that presents no easy answer! I could say that military rose and solar charged have been disappointing to date and don't deserve to rate above an unraced runner...........but I think that may damage my minimal credibility.
I may ask Dan Crane to answer it - he may have a patch for it?
I'll find out and let you know
