Of $140000 and $1400 trophies.  1st $91000 and trophies of $800 to owner $300 to trainer $300 to jockey, 2nd $28000, 3rd $12600, 4th $5600, 5th $2800. Starter Subsidy: $200 for non-prize earning runners. (GROUP 3). No Allowances for apprentices.  Field Limit: 17 + 4 EM

I made the same point about the Doncaster somethingorother.

Turns out it was a race sponsors by a used car joint in Melbourne.

No one gives a shit.

While I agree that names of our major races should not be used elsewhere, I am fairly sure there are a heap of "Newmarkets"
particularly in country Queensland.

2003 Zabarra Carael Boy Grand Armee 1:23.2
He was one of my all time faves was zabarra, dont know how many times he saved my day, wish i had a few more that were as kind to me  rolleyes

Centennial Park has been knocking on the door. Drawn too well if anything!

Strat's Flyer - first up record very good and has a touch of class.

Walking Or Dancing, at his top rating, could give this a shake.

Emperor Bonaparte and My Sweet Cookie in the bottom end of the exotics.

Agree with Tevez about Drumbeats....will need luck but too good to leave out.
