MY interest in this race is Fair Trade. Drifter in the markets though - $4.80 to $6.

Thoughts from the international Gurus?

Putting the horse's form aside, when was the last time Shane Dye rode a G1 winner?

From Prebble to Dye. Talk about from chocolates to boiled lollies.

Sport 927's Shane Anderson is the guru if you can get hold of his tips on the website...if you goto podcasts you'll fine International Racing segments well worth a listen to.

Fair Trade really has had a shocker of a prep for a race like this 1400m to 2000m but he might just be capable of it. Barrier prob doesn't matter much, yeah I'd like to know of Dye's recent form. From a report I read he's going very well for what it's worth. From what he's shown here you'd have to rate his chances highly.

Mounts of Whyte and Beadman both look likely to be amongst the finish.

What was wrong ?

I got the impression the connection ran him in the Derby for no other reason than for the sake of it.

What was the horse doing in that race ?

Wasnt the difference between him winning and losing though.

Worth watching the replay of both G1s... Darren Flindell calling as I understand it.

In both races there is nothing in the finish to my eye and he selects the winner both times. Magnificent stuff  Thumb Up   Thumb Up
