Cristiano, nominated for Wed 7/4, could be this years spoiler for the Karrakatta Plate. He blundered the start last Saturday when heavily supported, going up in the barriers when theyopened and losing 10 len or more. If he starts on terms, he wins Wed, then he will just sneak into the KK field with reasonable luck. He is clearly the only Colt/Gelding capable of holding out the fillies this year.

Disapointing result yesterday in finishing second, and therefore not earning enough to qualify high enough in the order of nominations.

Such is the attrition rate, Cristiano has actually obtained a run in this Group 2 off the back of a 2nd at a midweek.

Does anyone in the East know a bit more about Miss Gai Flyer ? My informant, who actually has a runner in the field, says that she will blow away the locals and win by 50M

I thought the Jockey went early on Miss Gai Flyer. I also wrote off Motion Pictures on her last two runs and backed the Victorian.
