The Eclipse is one of my favourite races, run over 10f at one of my favourite tracks, Sandown.

It's usually the first time the 3yos take on their elders.

This season, though, there's a special feel to it, as it's the race in which Enable makes her seasonal debut.

Enable's the ante post fav, at even money, ahead of Magical, who got close to her in the BC, at 4/1.

St James' Palace Stakes winner, Circus Maximus, is on the third line of betting at 5/1.

K McEvoy rides the Intello 4yo, Regal Reality, for Sir Michael Stoute and Cheveley Park Stud. He's 7/1.

The you've got the Lockinge winner, Mustashry, and the Dante winner, Telecaster, at 12/1.

And there's some further Australian interest amongst the outsiders, in that the 50/1 chance, Danceteria, is owned by Australian Bloodstock.
