You need a house to enable that transaction.
A lean-to at a trailer park doesn't cut it.

Got me a house and a mortgage.  Thinking of taking out a second mortgage and putting it all on the nose of the nag you say can't win.

You have an impeccable record of being wrong.

It's only Melbourne blow-ins that can't afford to buy here baby.   :)

I am really disappointed with that. I think Australia needed the Arc to be considered as good as Ballydoyle suggest he is.

Too me going to either of the Championship races whether its the Queen Elizabeth or the Champion Stakes smacks of ducking the big one.

They were never going to run in the Arc, I said as much months ago.
Better to duck and weave than risk exposure.
His conqueror from Leopardstown is not going either.
There's a fair bit of deadwood from last year lining up again though.

Why not risk the lot on it then and prove your kahones.
Nah, better you just mouth off on an internet forum, far safer that way.

Tattsbet not betting on the Arc?

No fixed with Tattsbet and as the race will be 1.30 Monday morning Aust time I wonder if they will be betting on this at all.

That's very ordinary in this day and age.

Indeed - but look on the bright side. It's a boon for the kiddies' college fund.

Tapestry supplemented for 120,000 Euro. R Moore to ride.

I tell the TAB via twitter that they need to add Tapestry. They advise me she is in the market, I have a look and they have her as not nommed and put her in at $11.00.

The thing that pisses me off is they put her in and than left Gold Ship at his $11.00 price.

I figured surely they will add her in and drift some of the others - but nope.

Christ, I wish the Jackall was in charge of the TAB.

I do not use Betfair. How much can you get set for for that $15.50 ?

That is crazy mate. Even if you had a $500 bet, you will average around $14.50 right now. By race time you will get set for whatever amount you want.

Why would you take $11 when you can take $15. I just find the whole thing staggering that knowledgeable punters don't have a Betfair account loaded up and ready to go. You can use other sites but Betfair has to be one option. I use 8 different sites but a huge percentage of my win bets are on Betfair.

Look at the Churchill Medal for Sunday. Inglis is $4 with the Tab and $7.20 on Betfair. The bloke I want to back is $15 on the Tab and $28 on Betfair.

Why would you knowingly take a shorter price?

Why would her addition cause a drift?

Just give your money to the Salvo's if you want to back her...... at least it's a worth cause.

if you do not bet with betfair its like thowing money down the drain. Also gives the best price information IMO.

I bet with TABs for multiples but betfair is the best, just back a horse in the futures market before it races, lay it off for a guaranteed profit.

Former Waratah and Wallaby, the estimable Morgan Turinui, now playing for Stade Francais, reports that the weather in Paris is fine and if there is any rain, it won't be enough to make a difference.

For the record, he likes Ectot.

Arc day's here. Best single day's racing in the world, as anyone who's been to one will attest.

Pity the French don't seem to realise it. 80% of the crowd will be poms!

You are not wrong JRB, those 2yo races alone are simply mouth watering.

I suggested elsewhere that Nucifera might be the best 2yo in Europe but he let me down last start and also have a soft for Starspangledbanners young gun The Wow Signal. It is a tip top race and might prove superior to The Dewhurst Stakes.
