Comes up this Sunday.

Locals look strong in the Sprint.

Beauty Generation is odds on in the Mile.

Euros look to dominate in the Vase.

The Japanese are a lock in the Cup.

The Japanese are a lock in the Cup.

Japan seems to be more upbeat than usual about chances across all races.
The fact that all jockeys at the top of the premiership are heading to ride regular mounts, albeit just one in many cases, means they expect to do well in all legs of HKIR.
Personally I believe Dierdre in the Cup is the strongest chance. Persian Knight is Japan's best miler. Lys  Gracieux has realised her potential with a riding change. The sprint is the only race Japan may miss.

Locals 2/2 so far.

A rare home win in the Vase, with Exultant fighting back to beat the Japanese filly, Lys Gracieux, which looked home for all money.

Mr Stunning goes back to back in the Sprint.

Next up, Beauty Generation in the Mile and then the Cup.

S de Sousa pulls his rivals’ pants down in the Cup, leading all the way on Glorious Forever.

When C-P Lemaire’s alarm clock finally went on off, Deirdre made up a power of ground late, but was left with far too much to do.

She needed sting out but to my eye wasn't traveling in back straight. Japan 3 2nds.
