I was at thye pub yesterday having a Vodka with a mate so backed this horse based purely on name (think I'll start doing it more often - more successful than my form study!) But WOW I don't know the strength of her opposition but she annihilated them!
SW what are the plans for this horse, she looks super impressive.

Horse of the year last year but she has yet to win overseas despite being /expected to win in Dubai.
She is the only filly/mare to win the Derby, Yasuda Kinen, Victoria Mile and Emperor's Cup at Tokyo racecourse.
On June 7th she will take on the Yasuda Kinen again, two visitors form HK engaged, Sight Winner and Armada.

There is a filly in this that is rated by many as a superstar.

Another good call Special Week.

Just a quick whinge, those camera angles as the horses enter the straight and down the running are bloody annoying.    :thumbsd:

Matt, I have nothing whatsoever to do with camera angles. All shots are covered in relation to the Japanese caller. Having said that there does seem to be some International conspiracy by directors to show angles they think looks impressive but of no value to the punter. I never see what you see anyway. As you know i have enought trouble through my binoculars.
Glad to hear some got a piece of the pie.......Tri here paid about $30.......  :(

She has obviously got plenty on that field, so why did he get so far back and nearly butcher it like the one that was butchered in Singapore last week.

Her racing style is a slow start, go back and settle and then fly over last 600 or 400m. The jock said he got it wrong, almost, and will try and ride her a little closer next time. She is heading to the Arc so we will see if they keep the veteran jockey onboard. That was his 20th G1 and first Oaks.
