Not unusual for horses to come back fatigued. I will ask around in the next few weeks to see if i can get a definitive answer.
Bit disappointing really.

NHK Mile Cup 1600, 3yr colts and fillies at Tokyo Fuchu track, 18 runners. Sky taking most of the 12 less 3 and oz betting on all but race 12, no idea as to why.

Damian Lane rides Groove It in the G1. looks an e/w chance.

My numbers 8 to 11.

R8    8,3,7,2
R9    13,5,12,4,9
R10  5,7,10,12,3
R11  7,17,10,1,3
Weather warmish tracks dirt sloppy turf good.

3 week suspension for Christophe Lemaire means Damian Lane will pick up some plumb rides incl Saturnalia in Derby.

Yeah sure did. Clever ride but dry track would have been different story.

I understand their thinking but another mouth watering contest goes by the by. I am not 100% that Almond Eye will be ready.

She is the mix but gate 18 no favours. Connections are upbeat.

Great to see D Lane on Normcore win the Victoria Mile.

Nice, patient ride which allowed perfectly for the brutal upfront pace.

And a 10/1 winner for the jockey racism system. 👍

Oaks won by Loves Only You, by Deep Impact ex a granddaughter of Miesque.

Ridden by Mirco Demuro, so chalk another big one up for my jockey racism system.

Japanese Derby run Sunday and Damian Lane rides odds on Fave Saturnalia going for 5 in a row and 3rd G1. (1.4)

I like Velox 3rd fave and having a place bet on 70/1 shot Red Genial. They will be my tri as well.

Saturnalia seemed a tad erratic last start. Valox May have his measure.

Iím throwing in 2 bolters from that race. Meisho Tengen & Schwarz Riese
