Run early tomorrow morning, our time.

Pink Dogwood, for A O'Brien and R Moore, is fav, just ahead of the J H M Gosden filly, Mehdaayih, to be ridden second string jock, Rab Havlin. First string, L Dettori, rides Anapurna.

Mehdaayih and Sheik Hamdan's Maqsad for me.

Great ride L Dettori to get the Frankel filly and stable second string, Anapurna, home.

And yet another G1 for J H M Gosden.

R Moore copping plenty of criticism for going too early and being caught close home on the runner up, Pink Dogwood - almost a carbon copy of his ride on Kew Gardens in the G1 Coronation Cup earlier in the day, when caught near the post by Defoe after looking the winner.

My last thought on the race? Though they both carry the same international G1 status, I suspect the form from this Oaks might end up a tad stronger than the Qld Oaks run a few hours ago.

Maybe but do any of the Epsom Oaks winners do much later on?

They had Enable but the rest?

Qld had Winx

In the 19 running since the turn of the century The Oaks has had 5 stupifyingly good winners, Ouija Board, Snow Fairy, Taghrooda, Minding and Enable.

Queensland has had, Ethereal and Winx.

Mehdaayih got her season back on track on Sunday, winning a G2 over 2400m at St Cloud very smoothly.

I reckon by season's end, she'll have proven herself the best 3yo filly of 2019.
