Apparently from the same family as the Japanese Derby winner.
Don't you mean The Japanese Derby fave and runner up?

I'm in love again.
Waking up, feeling sick with anticipation.
Sure hope I can watch live on NBC.
How long before it comes up on good ole You tube I wonder....

Pedigree Shmedigree hey? Its all in the stride length...see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXzBgVUdLkg
Wonder what Caviars was? I knew we needed high def digital slow motion footage of her....in the last Lightning....600 to 400 was it? I digress....

I read an article about the stride length of Secretariat quite a while ago and got a photo of BC and measured her angle to be the same.

I emailed it to the articles author and he agreed she had a massive stride in Secretariats range.

No.

They share Judie-Rae on the bottom line.

One website  I read states 6.35 NY time.
Others say 6.50 NY.
Tune in 8.20 am in Oz just in case.
Wish I had Sky.
Hoping NBC website works.

22 hours to go, and I get the sneaking feeling I wont be able to watch online...if not..WHY NOT.
Couldnt Channel 7 buy a cross to the track for 10 mins? Dream on I suppose..
Help!
Surely, in 2014, with history ready to be made, we should be able to watch.

You see its these moments.....these magnificent minutes.....the history making races....that our racing administrators and friendly TV men should ensure the general public get caught up with.
If we wanna grow the sport..promote our most magic moments!
This is up there with Caviar in Britain...history.
And we do nothing...pay minimal attention.
When will we get it?

Apparently every triple crown winner had run at Belmont at least once before their triple crown bid.

I expect Ride On Curlin to win.  He got a bastard of a ride in the Derby and should have finished a lot closer.
Social Inclusion hampered him in the straight in the Preakness and he still looked like he might win.
His racing style should suit the Belmont.

But I hope CC wins!

I thought he had a chance around the turn but did not accelerate. Great effort though.

The owner's comments after the race were quite inflammatory. Wonder how much of that he will regret in the future?
