He just went up at a critical time before the turn and momentarily boxed in McDonald on Duca Valintinois - just enough to check his momentum and has probably been the difference in the end. Great tactical riding # Logged PoisonPen7 Group 1 User 55 Posts: 23943 « 2016-Apr-30, 02:27 PM Reply #12 » That ride on the Prov Champion Danish Twist was one of his best. They are winning out wide at Hawkesbury today and he was stuck behind the leader close to the rails but the way he gently eased out to be 3 from the outside fence at the finish was real genius. # Logged Authorized Group 1 User 18 Posts: 31348 « 2016-Apr-30, 02:35 PM Reply #13 » Quote from: PoisonPen7 on 2016-Apr-30, 02:27 PM That ride on the Prov Champion Danish Twist was one of his best. They are winning out wide at Hawkesbury today and he was stuck behind the leader close to the rails but the way he gently eased out to be 3 from the outside fence at the finish was real genius. # Logged ratsack VIP Club Group 1 User 327 Posts: 12145 « 2016-Apr-30, 06:22 PM Reply #14 » that track at Hawkesbury was a disgrace i don't bet there anyway # Logged j.r.b. Figtree – B Avdulla, rider of Danish Twist, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding inthat near the 150m, he permitted his mount to shift out whilst riding along when not clearof Figtree, resulting in Figtree losing its rightful running and having to be steadied by itsrider. B Avdulla's licence to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence onSunday, 8 May 2016 and to expire on Sunday, 15 May 2016, on which day he may ride.http://www.racingnsw.com.au/Site/_content/rdbMeet/00042903-stewardsreportsourcefile.pdfGood jockeys will cop a few suspensions with their will to win.
