We are often bagging jockeys.

Race 4 at Randwick today is a good example why I never hesitate putting my money on a Brenton Avdulla mount.

A lesser jock wouldn't have taken that run.

Was a replica of race 5.

Funny thing both horses are the most prolific winners.....both won 10 races......SP's of $30 ......while the favs have won 1 and 2 races respectively.

Reine Happy now has 4 starts at the track and distance for 3 wins and a 3rd.......go figure :what:

Not sure what I did today is 'doing the form', fours

I spotted Alessandro in today and he was my 'next time' for you boy off his last run......my only bet.

I went looking for a something to combine in doubles with him.......glad I noticed Reine Happy's track and distance record ....had a few $'s eachway as well....took a minute....anybody spotted my 'form horse' Alessandro.

Little 4 kg boy spanked their backsides but it is amazing how these older handy gallopers consistently get overlooked.

Today it worked.....tomorrow?.....probably not!

nemisis,

I never claimed a great strike rate when doing the form on big prices           but you don't need one!

Watch young JAG's ride on Bandipur in the Eye Liner on Saturday showed great determination and fearlessness although he got 8 days on the sidelines.... it appeared he checked Winter Passage in the process of taking a narrow opening ................unfortunately RQ videos do not have the stewards vision like  NSW and Victoria....  this shortcoming should be rectified so that all angles are available to the punting public who contribute to funding both RQ and QRIC....but it's been an issue from the start so I won't be holding my breath.

Watching the Canterbury replays yesterday where Nash Rawiller rode 3 winners.

His ride to get Best Stone up in the 5th race is one of the best I've seen in a long time. I doubt any other jockey would have got it home.   emthup

Anyone watch race 5 from Albany today?

Can anyone explain what Peter Hall was doing on Rogue's Point in the straight?  :what:

Late in the straight?
Was he changing the whip hand or regathering the reins?

He didn't look to me to be throwing them at the horse, more pulling on them  :what:

Not sure if he was trying to straighten the horse but it was certainly strange imho.

God bless her. 💕💕💕
Stacey Metcalfe got old Keysor home in the 2nd @ Bordertown today despite losing her irons when the saddle slipped a long way from home.

She’ll have a sore bum tonight

Pretty amazing effort really, just to stay on, let alone still get home   emthup

Not sure what the commentator was looking at as it looked pretty obvious what has happened but it took him to the last 500 to work it out.
