Firstly i'll post this -

I am a fan of Jeff Lloyd but his effort on Hurried Choice was diabolical, i was on Biscayne Bay and he was going to settle in behind the speed on the outside of Hurried Choice, but Lloyd decided he did not want to stay there and shoved Biscayne Bay out in the car park.

You would really think it would be hard to thuck up a good thing in a 1000m race but Chris Whitely did the trick in the 1st from Rocky. Just let the thuckers go.

anyone see the ride of J Jones @ Doomben yesterday on RAINCOAT in Race 8

some of the DUMBEST moves made by a jock that I've seen in recent times

horse should have won by 3 lengths or maybe further

thought the kid was better than that, but obv not

also an interesting ride by D OLIVER on VINDICATING in the 3000m race yesterday at Sandown
with 1000m to go he pulls out of the 1/1 and pushes up to try and lead, whoever was leading was having none of it and the two of them took off setting the race up for a swooper. Vindicating holds most of them off except for a late charge by Prince Vitality who was suited by the tempo rising earlier than it should of

Vindicating had lengths on those walkers....

I see M. McDonald rode a winner in Victoria at Benalla. Is this the former Qld sometimes-in-trouble hoop?

If you backed Cats Whiskas you are entitled to be absolutely spewing at JARRAD NOSKE, he should have gone on and put a gap on the opposition when he had a lap full of horse.

He must have expected instant excelleration when he eventually went for her.

Terrible ride, i think he should be in a little trouble over it as well.

Obviouly he knew the "lap full of horse" was deceptive and tried to save what petrol she had for the finish.

Brickbat to Brett Scott for his ride on the odds-on pop Awakening Dream in the three hose race 2 at Moe.

Okay, he won by a nose, but that wasn't due to any of Scott's vigour or desperate activity.

I was thinking earlier whether punters would roll up and lay down their hard-earned on jumps jockeys riding three year old fillies in 1200M races, if the above ride is what we can expect: I doubt it.

When and if they take the jumps away, i think it will open up the jockey ranks enormously. There must a be a stack of "horseman" who prefer not to go jumping whenst their weight reaches the heights of 60+ ?

After your jumping up and down exhibition yesterday about Noske's ride I thought you'd be all over Scott for his ride.

It was very much out of character for Brett. Normally he cuts them in half with the stick, but didn't use it on this occasion. Perhaps he was under instruction from Patrick not to use the persuader.
