Gee Nemisis , Katelyn is going to start getting very jealous of your infatuation with this bloke. I think he is the luckiest bloke in the World to be riding this side of Christmas based on a few of his recent efforts . No one doubts he is top class but a few of his recent pilot jobs would arouse suspicion by any fair minded observer.

I never realized he was in love.

In France that would qualify as an acceptable excuse

Perhaps that is why he was midfield 27 deep on Shamusu Sho that day in the Highway when he should have been at the rear of the big field. He was thinking of his beautiful partner. Why doesn't he do the right thing and marry the girl!

He should plead crime passionnel on his current charge and the stewards should let him off.   emthup

Just a fan Gunbower....just a fan!
If Rip Van Winkle woke from his slumber and logged into the forum he could be forgiven for thinking  that James McDonald was a hooker and slaughterer of thoroughbreds.

Has to be acknowledged that the Kiwi kid from Kaipaki can really ride.
Reached the top of the tree or climbed to the top of the mountain?.....Whatever?.....but that's what he has achieved and for that deserves to be applauded. :clap2:

What fair minded people want to see is 'justice served'......based on evidence.
A sleepy ride or a girlfriend who works for a bookie, while not a good look, does not warrant being rubbed out until Christmas.
He has either hooked Threeood or he hasn't......it's one or the other!.....charging him with basically not hitting the filly hard enough in this day and age is ridiculous.
Every bet is a transaction and can be traced.....if there is some evidence out there then Stewards need to go and find it and produce it.

Until then....Go J Mac!

.......... thank you Nemisis......as I said............

..........a leading jockey (or judge) cannot be 'done' for a riding offense ..........unless the never-monitored and never-investigated betting (and bedding) suggests otherwise.

Unbelievable .Stewards Today are basically PR officers for the TAB Machine. If  any Steward who has the b---- to  ask any difficult question he/she  will be eventually  hounded out of their positions. That is why they just shut up. They have families , mortgages etc. If you push the envelope and start questioning some little thief then it will be the Steward  who brings Racing into disrepute. Or that is how the so called Integrity machine works. Before the Industry was allowed to own and control its own media, life was hugely different. Check  it out with fellows like KC in Sydney. Why do they hound the small , minor (easy targets)rather than the big fish -much easier and no one cares or is interested. And guess what; it actually looks like they are doing the job they are paid for.
