he won't be getting my money on a snowden runner in sydney for a longtime. I can't believe someone that has the pick of the rides of the best horses in Australia can be so much of a lame duck!!!

A treble yesterday for McEvoy.

His ride in the last was a gem.  He took the odds to the pace being solid, and brought SYMPHONY MISS down the outside to win on the line.

I doubt others would have achieved the same outcome.

Good to have you at Caulfield yesterday, Kerrin.

You are supposed to ride a horse for your fee, Mr McEvoy

Thank god he is suspended for 8 meetings. Now we can back some of Snowden's horses with confidence. The problem with McEvoy is he rides some good races but then spoils it with some shockers.

Brown is riding Caymans in the guineas.

Was it for Darley? Was it the favourite?

two improtant questions to ponder when backing a Mcevoy horse. He seems to feel the pressure a lot more when riding for Darley and especially on a short one.

2 rides so far today for Waller for 2 wins.

1 ride so far for darley for 0 wins.

Everytime he rides a Darley horse, you are always taking unders. Stable jockeys are over rated. He is inconsistent and I like the guy too. But I hate backing at times especially when he has few losers early in the day. He is a confidence rider.

And what does that much-vaunted "pressure" translate to, Judge?

PS  We're talking about a jockey who's won Melb, Caul Cup, and ridden overseas.

The pressure will be on Mcevoy and Snowden to come up with G1s now.

I think McEvoy is on the cusp of a wave of success. He is due.... :shy: :shy:

So I think Forensics and Caymans will bring them some g1 winning joy in the next few weeks.
