Damien Oliver has been booked to ride boom galloper Haradasun in the spring. Connections apparently decided that Nash Rawiller gets the axe. Nash Rawiller is reported to be 'shattered'. Rawiller's record on Haradasun is eight rides for four wins and three 2nds. Oliver has never ridden the rising 4YO.

Nash Rawiller is in the running for the spring ride on the Fred Kersley trained Marasco. A number of jockeys are trying to grab the Marasco ride and FK is yet to make a decision. William Pike is expected to be aboard when Marasco resumes racing in Perth.

Nash Rawiller skipped away with two easy victories in the first two races at Warwick Farm today and won four of the seven races.

Nash Rawiller's hopes of getting back on Haradasun were dashed today when he lost his appeal against a one month suspension for not giving a horse every chance in a race at Randwick last month.

I was hopeing that he would be back on Haradason as IMO Oliver doesn't suit the horse he confuses him, you just have to watch his ears he is saying "what do you want me to do stupid".

Thursday, 23 April 2009: Jockey Nash Rawiller has appealed against the length of penalty resulting from a careless riding suspension incurred at Royal Randwick on April 18.

Rawiller was charged by Racing NSW stewards after riding Manhattan Rain to win the AJC Sires' Produce Stakes.

He was found guilty of a charge of careless riding in that he permitted his mount to shift in approaching the 1000m when insufficiently clear of Romanus, which was taken in onto Phelan Ready, resulting in Phelan Ready striking the running rail, losing its position and being severely checked.

Rawiller's licence to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence on Sunday Apri, 26 and expire on Thursday May 21 on which day he may ride.

He successfully applied for a stay of proceedings until his appeal is heard by the NSW Racing Appeal Panel at 9:30am on April 30.

Nash Rawiller was charged with careless riding aboard Manhattan Rain for the second time in successive Saturdays but escaped with a reprimand.

Rawiller successfully argued that Onemorenomores rider Peter Robl contributed to the interference by shifting in suddenly himself at the 1200 metre mark.

Rawiller was suspended for 13 meetings on Doncaster Mile day.

Just watching the replay I could not agree more. Caused two lots of dominos in the first couple of hundred, one worse than the other, very dangerous, that is weak from the stewards there. They know he would not have done it if it wasnt a G1 race, and they know how much carnage it caused.

Not to mention the punters' money (including mine!) on the horses that may have won without his interference!!!!!

Very, very light punishment!
