Not to put you of PP but the horse is owned by RT's mother (among others).

Actually when I looked through the form it is a pretty crash hot race.

Still think it is a good chance though  :chin:

I rarely back RT but Supplements last 2 runs have been very good. Nice price but bad barrier. Will be running on but from where :chin:

Taree Tuesday.

Robert Thompson
Race 3   Brobak   Todd Howlett - 11 goes and even Robbie has failed to get him home 3 times. Doesn't get beat that far.
Race 4   Diva Torio   Jeremy Sylvester - 6yo mare still a maiden after 18 starts beaten 10L last start. No.
Race 6   Bazza's Boy   Jenny Graham - given a chance in this
Race 7   Yeatman   David Atkins - very strong chance
Race 8   Follow Through   Gordon Yorke - Lightly raced and wouldn't have to improve much to be in the mix

Best - Race 7 #3 Yeatman

Riding Kaepernick first up in the last at Scone today for Team Hawkes. Some impressive trials leading into this.

Race record. Hawkes should use Robbie more often.

Rides in Adelaide today for Rodney Northam in the G1 Goodwood on Big Money. That is his only mount for the day.

Bang! 20-1 shot in the 2nd at Taree on the horse whose form reads

Beaten 18.7 lengths
Beaten 8.9 lengths
Beaten 11.5 lengths
Beaten 5.5 lengths (at Louth) and before that ran last at Warren beaten 6.8 lengths.

Why wasn't this horse 600-1

Suffice to say didn't carry mine.

His only other mount on the day is in Race 6 and it has come up odds on in some markets.

RT's mum Phyllis has been in hospital - here's hoping for a speedy recovery.   emthup

If RT wasn't so devoted and in love with living in the Hunter Valley and had moved to Sydney in his early 20's he would have been held in the same way as George Moore, Mick Dittman and Darren Beadman.

RT first and foremost is a champion horseman and then a champion jockey.

RT isn't a "manufactured" jockey he is a professional horseman.

Hugh Bowman is another professional horseman and it also shows with his ability.

It will be a sad day when RT retires but what a great career.

We all wish that RT's mum is home and well for Christmas.

Going to Brisbane today. 2 mounts.

Big Money in the Keith Noud.

Drawn barrier 2. Horse likes to get the good sit so should go well.

50-1 shot in the last for Tony Gollan that would need to improve on recent form.
