Must be referring to Heavens Above at Flemington on Saturday. It was a "Barry Crocker ". No worse though than well known punter, Blake Shinn's slaughter job on Tangled in the Derby. Some people are still silly enough to believe he is a top jockey.

OMFG how bad was that ride by Andrew Adkins on the Godolphin horse in the last at Goulburn?

Given a chance to ride one for the big stable and rides it like he is on one of those 100-1 shots he rides quite often. Certainty beaten finishing 2nd to a horse ridden by the jockey who should have been on the Godolphin horse, Brenton Avdulla

The stewards in Qld really need to look at some of the rides today especially on the fav and / or 2nd favs in Doomben. Some them travelled so wide, it was impossible for them to win. They were content to let their horses travel wide but in other races, they manage to position them a lot better when they were not in the market.

Happens week in , week out. Most of their Stewards exceed the age entrance requirements at your average nursing homes.

Sometimes I think the racecallers are trying to help the stewards too with their description of the races but it seems the stewards can't hear the races too.

You do realise stewards make a point in many jurisdictions of not listening to any call durig the race?

I am referring to the replays.

How often do they watch replays of the race before they do a stewards report or it just live viewing from their vantage point? Does anyone know?

Interesting article today on twitter abuse against an apprentice. The name and shame including the person's employment details could set up some interesting parameters for the future.

Sunshine Coast race 2 Tessyier. Great run behind leader, carried a bit towards rail by leader.  but had ample room. Decides to exaggerate hook around leader and leaves enormous room for the eventual winner and placegetters. Beaten around a length. Had betting drift too
