Oh dear, the ride by the kid on Sentimental Gift in the 7th @ Belmont was a car crash.

Making it worse I had it stood out with the first 5 over the line in an F4. Including the $32 winner🥵🥵🥵

I don't see it WIly

He's back like you expect on a Peters horse, gets off the fence and gets the back of the main danger (Pikes mount) to follow through, didn't look to get held up or be going well enough to feature  :chin:

Biggest issue I had Gin, was that he should not have got off the fence. In doing so he lost that momentum trying tto get the back of the favourite who was 3 to 4 wide at the time. The ground saved would have been invaluable and the run certainly opened up
On straightening you can see him anxiously looking to the outside. Trying to get clear air, which I donít think Baramagic gave him at any stage. He layer all over him from the 300 to the 100

Yes, he was up in the irons being checked but with clear air he would have finished much better

Anyways, I did my arse

Huge weight drop as well, Gin :clap2:

Skinny price & I do dislike backing Pike from sticky draws but the horse needs his vigour.....if he decides to use it :confused1:

So many would have pushed off the fence yet he held his nerve and let it unfold in front of him  :clap2:

Gin, the Full brother goes around tomorrow. Very well drawn, right distance. No longer in the Bob Peters colours and last start was a very interesting 🤔 😱ride🤫

Pikey, riding the exceptionally good looking, fave who jumps up from 1400m

What Hughie did in the first is about the worst thing I've seen in fifty years on the punt.

Won't be surprised if this all ends up in the courts.

J. Kah for the slaughter job on Tavidance

Just got home from the kids soccer, wanted to watch it again after cursing Kah when watching live on my phone, didn't get better on replay

Took off a mile too early knocking up after being emptied at the 200m, all the while the winner was behind it smoking it's pipe, pulls out and wins running away after the jock showed the patience Kah couldn't

Didn't see it and must be bad as both RNSW & the TAB only have the replay up from the 200m

Horse euthanised

Adkins complaining of sore leg, ribs ans collar bone. Off to hospital but fully conscious and gave a big smile and thumbs up from the stretcher as he was being placed in the ambulance

While I agree the ride on Tavidance wasn't much chop, the horse's action in the straight would suggest a problem.
He did suffer a fairly serious injury last September (10 months off) so maybe wait to see how he pulls up and when we see him again.

The Tavistocks do look a wet track breed to me ......I wouldn't suggest ever taking odds on a Tavistock on good to firm ground.

Looks like all available replays have been edited to remove the fall- even the audio!

It was up for long enough for me to watch it in slow mo ...... absolute shocker.

Negligent and dangerous beyond belief.

Has to get one of the biggest suspensions ever.

No excuse for the jockey here. Either guilty of reckless or foul riding or both. Very likely this will see this particular hoop headed for the Courts in much the same way as M Johnston all those years ago.

Yep, I'd say the owners of Hot 'n' Hazy or their insurers might be looking for redress as well.
