Lovely ride by Shinn not to push out where the winners have been coming especially as the horse outside was starting to tire. Kept trying to find runners on the inside when the horses in front were shifting in. # Logged Gintara Group 1 User 16 Posts: 12510 « 2019-Aug-03, 06:08 PM Reply #2051 » Mitch Pateman on Rebel King take a bow.Hands up an easy lead over a 1000m only to struggle to get clear running behind the leaders heals and then kicking through to run a close 3rd. # Logged JWesleyHarding Group 1 User 231 Posts: 19371 « 2019-Aug-10, 03:44 PM Reply #2052 » Collett on Costello # Logged wily ole dog Group 1 User 218 Posts: 26636 « 2019-Aug-11, 07:19 AM Reply #2053 » Victim of circumstances? « Last Edit: 2019-Aug-11, 07:24 AM by wily ole dog » # Logged Jeunes VIP Club Group 2 User 296 Posts: 3238 « 2019-Aug-11, 01:29 PM Reply #2054 » The bookies seem to be Nostradamus on how they pick up on certain bad rides in Sydney before the race starts especially over the last few weeksWe have had some reversals from favs winning one week then really bad the next or horses winning from the front after not leading previous start when they ie Torajoy. # Logged wily ole dog Group 1 User 218 Posts: 26636 « 2019-Aug-24, 04:46 PM Reply #2055 » Quote from: wily ole dog on 2017-Oct-13, 06:51 PM Northern Divine goes around in the last without the inept Fradd Nothings changed up there in the north.Wirnpa in the 4th at the Goldie # Logged Jeunes VIP Club Group 2 User 296 Posts: 3238 « 2019-Aug-24, 09:36 PM Reply #2056 » McEvoy missed the boat in a couple of races today. Not sure if it was bad luck or positioning of his horses in Adana, Avillus and Roheryn. When he is on fire, he is good to back but sometimes it just pays to watch. # Logged Gintara Group 1 User 16 Posts: 12510 « 2019-Aug-26, 03:48 PM Reply #2057 » Adana was a horrible watch looked to have plenty to offer before being hopelessly pocketed while both Avilius & Roheryn we're just too far back to be given any hope # Logged wily ole dog Group 1 User 218 Posts: 26636 « 2019-Oct-05, 04:40 PM Reply #2058 » The jock on Mystic Journey # Logged Jeunes VIP Club Group 2 User 296 Posts: 3238 « 2019-Oct-05, 06:57 PM Reply #2059 » There were some shockers in Brisbane today. It is almost a no go zone at times if the horse is not backed. Kalgoorlie is almost like that today. # Logged Arsenal VIP Club Group 1 User 194 Posts: 16298 « 2019-Nov-17, 02:52 PM Reply #2060 » James McDonald had two winners at Newcastle....but he should have made it three if he didn't get boxed in on Juventus he missed the bus completely.https://racing.racingnsw.com.au/FreeFields/VideoResult.aspx?MeetDate=2019Nov16&VenueCode=MTY0MjU1Nw==&RaceNumber=8&MeetingCategory=Professional&VideoFileType=StewardsGiddy Up « Last Edit: 2019-Nov-17, 02:56 PM by Arsenal » # Logged wily ole dog Group 1 User 218 Posts: 26636 « 2019-Nov-17, 06:03 PM Reply #2061 » Geez Arsey, you’re a harsh judge.Run of the race and the horse did zilch. He said, after settling towards the rear of the field, he was positioned to the inside of Mr Garcia and had anticipated that runner to either improve or to give ground, which would have afforded him the opportunity to shift out. He added that when Mr Garcia maintained its position directly to his outside,he was unable to shift out when positioned behind Testashadow and Sambro and as a consequence was badly held up between the 400m and the 200m. J Innes Jr further stated that inside the 200m he was obliged to steady his mount and shift to the outside of Mr Garcia, whereby Bobbingobtained clear running at the 150m, where it was able to be balanced and finished the race off strongly. After considering his explanation, Stewards found that J Innes Jr had not ridden his mount in an unreasonable manner, given his instructions and his positioning in the middle stages of the event. One to put in the not blameworthy case file ........still a poor result for those who made it favourite possibly will go to the Villiers if it makes the field would be on the limit. Another one to catch my eye was the ride and run of Wapiti a very nice 3yo having only its third start in a race ......finished a very creditable fourth in R4 at Doomben on level weights after giving start ran on strongly out wide one to follow.Giddy Up # Logged JWesleyHarding Group 1 User 231 Posts: 19371 « 2019-Dec-07, 03:08 PM Reply #2065 » Race 3 Rosehill.Did Acquittal take charge of Collett ?Stewards' report should make interesting reading.I'm not a big fan of this bloke..Had no bet -not talkin' thru my pocket. # Logged Gintara Group 1 User 16 Posts: 12510 « 2019-Dec-07, 04:57 PM Reply #2066 » Doomben race 8 Fradd Le Juge # Logged PoisonPen7 Group 1 User 55 Posts: 20757 « 2019-Dec-07, 09:45 PM Reply #2067 » Quote from: Gintara on 2019-Dec-07, 04:57 PM Doomben race 8 Fradd Le Juge I was on him.
