One BLOG per member.  The BLOG is your personal thread.  Give it an appropriate title including your forum nick.

All visitors to the site can read your BLOG.  Thus, Forum Rules regarding offensive and/or defamatory posts apply to your BLOG.  Posts that don't comply will be deleted by moderators.

Other members can post on your BLOG.  It will be your decision whether you respond to their posts.

BLOGS do not duplicate the role of existing threads where we expect to see open discussion and debate.

The BLOG should be your personal view on the world - it doesn't have to be confined to racing.  If an issue is raised that's worthy of debate, we suggest that this be carried out in a specific thread.

Be frank, or circumspect.  Be serious or flippant.   Be exciting or boring.  But most of us all, tell us your OWN feelings.  Are you fed up with the hot weather?  Is your cat pregnant?  Did your budgie die?  Has your partner finally given up smoking?  Are you considering buying a second-hand caravan?  Who's your favourite horse?  And so on....

As Madonna famously said:  EXPRESS YOURSELF!!

This is a work in progress

Was ted's whole blog deleted to protect him after he welched on a bet? Did he ask for it to be removed? I can imagine he did.

The thread was deleted because numerous posts didn't comply with guidelines.

Ted can start another BLOG if that's his wish.

If you guys have opposing views, and are keen for a bet, nothing's lost.

I take it that an offer and acceptance of a bet is no longer allowed to be posted on the forum.

I can see why some of ted's vitriol should have been deleted, but for the whole thread????

Ted seems to have carte blanche when it comes to slandering politicians, yet when he is exposed for what he is, gains immunity via deletions

Walter, Bogs, are for people to express their feelings and experiences.

Not to get into political debates with other members with differing views.

There is a Thread for wages between members, I suggest you do a search and take it there

Suggest you read the deleted thread, Magic. There was no polical debate from my side. Just a bet. Ted tried to turn it into a political statement and after all, it was his blog so I can't see the problem.

The deletion was just a cover up to hide the fact that a member welched on a bet from another member. Pure and simple, really

If deletions MUST occur, and you know my opinion on that, then surely only the offending posts should be deleted.

Think of all ted's gems we've lost. :(

If two members cause a stink on the Brisbane Selections thread, would the whole thread be consigned to the ether?

Wally you do realise you obtained that bet through deceitful means. You knew you were getting an enormous over on a bet by using trickery. You knew that Ted thought you meant the QLD state election- that is why you were so obscure with your initial bet offer.

I think you will find on every corporate betting site in the world, if you get a price that is not realistic due to an error, the bet becomes void.

Ted made an error. Everyone knew it. You particularly knew it, which puts a question mark on your behaviour. You knew you were tricking him which Ted acknowledged when it was pointed out to him. You even boasted about doing the trick. The bet has to be void.

Thank god I only bet with Chuggers. We do it with respect and with honestly. And we have a truckload of fun.

You will run around here now for the next few weeks begging for your deceitful bet to be upheld. Save us from it please.
