All I have to do is win the money to buy one of these gadgets.

If you wanted to spend $1000 then the galaxy Tab, would be the best solution.

Much better than an iPad, as it can actually do voice calls, has usb, bluetooth, and much more, including being able to view flash websites, something that an iPad can not do.

Is also smaller, and much more portable than an iPad.

If not, than test drive either of the new tabs from telstra, and or optus, for around $300

One of the problems with having a TAB, is you need to have a 3G connection to use it when away from your normal WIFI at home, and with the price of 3G data, it is best to go on a plan.

Which opens up another option for those that already use 3G for their home internet, which would be to get a Galaxy Tab on a plan and pay nothing up front for it, and turn it into a WIFI hotspot at home, for your home internet connection  :)

Some great advice Magic.   $1,000 be too much for me to spend on what is basically a toy for me.

$300 is not a great deal of money and if doesn't work for too long there is no real harm done.

Off that topic for a sec.

Wonder if Westie or DD have seen this type of thing in USA.

gratlog, I doubt she'd get into the Apple orchard.  The security is almost as tight as ya see outside a bottle shop in Port Moresby.

There'd be some question that she was concealing apples.

Good idea these blogs as those that reckon I talk rubbish now don't have to read my stuff.  If they do , they deserve all they get. :bleh:

Plenty of races today and tomorrow and no ch7 coverage to worry about tomorrow.

having a few bets for my punters club  but apart from that I'm just going to have some minimum bets till I have 30 losers and see what the results are.
Going for fixed odds as I when I go back over my bets at Unitab it is easier to remember what I have backed. When it is there in just numbers, I wouldn't have a clue

Sunshine Coast

Haven't gone thru these yet but I'm curious if any of them try to do both venues.

Ms Piper has one at Ipswich at 1610 and then one at Sunny Coast at 2007 so she just might make it

4 hours is cutting it fine on a Friday arvo

For a PC bet I have to choose one of these.

Bit of fun and for sure I will go for the wrong one

If the one I pick gets beat I hope the other two do as well

A lot of people are fans of Larry Cassidy but surely even they would say it wasn't one of his best efforts in the first at Ipswich today

Had a early tea/late lunch and done the washing up so now ready for a night of three state racing.

I'll be sticking with Sky as those blokes on TVN drive me insane.

Dunno what more he could have done.  Carry her?  The filly is a stayer, and she was a shot duck after 200 metres.  George Moore squared could not have got her home under the conditions of the race.

Getting a race run to suit is the key to winning on the punt.  Sadly, we're not playing computer games.

He took off 800 from home.  Isn't that earlier enuff?

Just wondering where he made the mistake/s?

And I didn't have a cent on her.  Tried for the 2.22 on Betfair, but getting getting cut back.

The race was over when he took off. Then he was four wide.
The poor thing had no chance.

Ric Mc won on it there a fair time back but that was a decent ride.

The race was over when the leader walked.

KM is a stayer.

Sorry if that's a bit complicated.

OK, a favourite got beaten, so it must have been a poor ride.
