I voted no  :shy: but I must say the spamming of multiple threads with the same stuff constantly wears thin

I'm a 'no' . .

I post a bit of nonsense here from time to time, as well, and don't always agree with PM . . but there is an 'ignore' function

It does nothing to attract new members and is the main reason a couple of ex forumites no longer visit- sick of scrolling through the BS to find something of interest. Surely that is reason enough to act?

People have noticed his slanderous posts and the mods, sitting on their hands, will be responsible if the forum possibly paying the price.
Very sad

There are no moderators on this forum.

There are a few of us that can edit posts (me for example because I need to run the comps) but the assumption we can ban people is 100% incorrect.

That functionality is simple not there i.e. there is no "Ban User" button as far as I can see.

So please get your story straight before disparaging people who you think are moderators.

The Ignore function is there if you do not like what someone is saying.

PP, dont take it personally mate but something needs to be done about the blokes posts.
They are totally out of line on the majority of time and slanderous

The forum will eventually pay the price and I donít want that to happen after all these years

Someone needs to take action before someone else does

If there are no moderators then why is there a report to moderator option linked to each post?

Seems the rules apply to some & not to others when it suits
I assume then Magic can still ban forumites as he certainly has excercised that option to a number of former forumites that I class as my friends in the past........

There is a "Report To Moderator" button.

I cannot ban users though.

My best suggestion is to put him on Ignore.

Sorry mate Iím sick to death of you guys suggesting put him on ignore
There is a much better & simpler solution for the good of the forum
Take the same action Magic has in the past
The Ignore button usage does nothing to discourage the pattern of behaviour being displayed
It does nothing to encourage visitors that may consider joining to sign up
Step up Magic, step up  it's way past time!

............surprisingly not aware of this attention

If the racing industry had any semblance of a free-press, properly reporting, there would be no need for anything that I say.

Peter trust me when i say there is no need for anything that you say - by the way nice use of grammar "properly reporting"

Go troll another thread

That is ridiculous.  You are openly plotting to have the member removed from the forum.  He has every right to reply.

You have had your poll and it fell flat on its face.  Your entire problem with the member is that you don't agree with him.  Grow up.

Tontonan may I say you sound like a quality fellow. I agree with probably (at best ) 5%  of what PM contributes. However I fully agree with his right to say it. I am not sure sometimes whether he is the greatest "gee up " merchant of all time or if believes everything he posts . The answer is probably somewhere in the floating space between the two parameters. Anyway good on you for continuing to hold dear the right to free speech and opinion.

there area rules  to abide by regarding use of the forum ie trolling threads , PM has been encouraged to open his own threads ( which has certainly taken on board 😳 ) without polluting other threads with his non relevant politically motivated rants.
You really shouldn't pretend you understand someone else's issue with another forumite as you certainly got this call wrong
