I'm backing the Wauchope trained #10 Allzin in this.

It is unconventionally trained by Graham Hoy and always resumes in longer races.

Last time in it ran 3rd first up in a Canterbury BM79 over 1900m with 56 kg.

Prep before that resumed in a Randwick 1600m BM74 with 59 kg and ran 3rd.

Both times it trialled well prior to the first up run and Allzin recently won a Taree trial. Gets in on the limit weight. Runs it's best races just sitting off the pace and will get a nice run from barrier 3. The $18 appeals each way.

Taree Cup Meeting thoughts for Early Quaddie plus Cup

Race 1

Very strong set weights maiden over 1000m with some city form.

Richard Freedman has sent up #14 Ungaurded first up. Hopelessly missed the start in a trial at Canterbury then moved nicely to run 4th. Two city runs on wet tracks for one placing. A worry if it misses the start from the rails.

#6 Quick Nick has had 3 starts. At it's 2nd start it ran 3rd in a Newcastle maiden to Sangita (Snowden horse nommed for the Golden Rose) and Group 1 winner El Dorado Dreaming!! Then was sixth in town and then spelled. Two trials in preparation for this.

#2 Commissioner has run into Ef Troop and Futooh in a couple of city runs and not disgraced.

#1 Biggles Would Go was a "running on" 4th on debut and the 2nd horse out of that race stablemate Tartufo Bianco won well on Friday.

These runners rate way ahead of anything else. The unraced #9 Shamus Star has had a little bit of a nibble and is only $8.50.

TIPS: 14-6-2-1-9

Race 2

A lot of runners come out of a Kempsey maiden that was one Kris Lees' horse Sunreel who graduated to Class 1 with a 5 length win last week at Newcastle. Looking at the replay of that race the best runs were from the lightly raced #6 Ted's Dream and the fast finishing #16e Backhouse Frilly.

#13 Lose The Snip ran a strong race to run 2nd to Our Espisito on Coff's Cup day. The 4th horse Meccabeh, a French import trained by Matt Dunn won as an odds on favourite winner at Doomben midweek.

TIPS: 6-16-13

Race 3

Line through the bottom 3.

#5 Editors and #3 Dixie Lad drawn to get good runs and have the peak ratings to win this.

#6 Phrases, #9 Triple Choice trained by Richard Freedman and #10 Northern Charm all ran in the same race over 1400m last start. I thought the old grey Phrases ran the best race of the three and he meets Triple Choice a half better and is 4th run back stepping up to a suitable distance on his home track and Bindi and Peter had a big priced winner on Friday.

Clare Cunningham is on fire and the city form if #7 Sacred Edge and the fact it is 3rd run back it looks the on top selection. #1 Tinker Dan has the grandstand but is 3rd run back and RT on board to cuddle him. He actually beat Sacred Edge last campaign and meets the horse better.

TIPS: 7-6-9-5-3-1

Race 4

There is a nice formline here with #1 Lady Wahoo. Easily beat Mizzy last start who ran 2nd to Ready To Prophet at Warwick Farm previous start. Ready To Prophet ran a close 4th to Fiesta in the G2 Silver Shadow yesterday. Gets 61 kg under the handicap conditions though which is a 7.5 kg rise on her maiden win.

The odds on favourite is Gai's #3 Fearless Girl. She was very weak in the last 200m last start in town - not sure if there was something wrong - but cannot possibly have her at that price.

#2 Selective looked sharp in a trial win and beat city winner Sedition last campaign.

#6 Luciola Belle was a hard held 3rd in a trial behind Cup runner Allzin and has good first up form.

#9 Dame Kiri is down in class and weight having had the misfortune of running into Darbies Blugirl last start :)

TIPS: 2-1-3-9-6

Race 7 Taree Cup.

As mentioned earlier took some nice odds about #10 Allzin. How is this for a trial - reckon he is going to be ready for the 2000m first up :)

#1 Olympic Dream - out of form.
#3 Our Gravano beaten only 4.6 by Raqeeq and Just Shine in town last start. Up 2 kg on that run.
#4 Loving Home. 2017 Port Cup winner. Has lost that form. 4th run back. Would need to improve a few lengths.
#5 All But Gone. Well up to this on form. 4th run back so should be ready to show best.
#6 Invictus. Wingham Cup winner who has been racing in town but not very well.
#7 Dubaiinstyle. Best city form gives him a chance but poor win strike rate (3 from 27).
#8 Shalmaneeser. Richard Freedman's Cup hope. 3rd run back. First two runs commendable in midweek city. Shocking draw for him but drops a bit in weight to offset that.
#9 Lady Evelyn. Favourite on the basis of a 3 length win in the Cup prelude and drops 4.5 kg. Placed in town in FM BM75.
#10 Allzin - selected and discussed before
#11 Bold And Groovy - Ken Howard winner on limit and stays there. Qld form before that consistent with big weights. 54 kg and a good draw leaves him in the chances.
#12 Don Pellegrino - dropping massively in weight and well drawn. City placed a few times in career and working to peak fitness.
#13 Red Dubawi. Regular city placegetter who has drawn the rails. If the rider pushes up a little at the start has a chance.
#14 Chalcedony. Not finsihed worse than 5th in last 10 runs and won over coursse and distance with 60kg tow starts back. 5th to Lady Evelyn in the prelude last start but beaten 5.6. Down 5.5 kg.

TIPS: 10-5-9-8 and outside chances to 12-13-11-14-7

The benefits of doing complete form  One day Iíll get the chance.
A cursory glance at 5he video of its only run and you have to wonder why Fair Dinkum went around at such big odds

This is how I've rted the Rowley Mile

FLOW          62   $4F
INVINZABEEL       61.5   $10
I AM SERIOUS       61.5   $5.50
MISTER SEA WOLF (IRE)    60.5   $5
DAGNY (NZ)       60   $11
CISMONTANE (NZ)    58.5   $34
SHOW A STAR       58.5   $19
PRINCE CHERI (FR)    58   $51
BLACK ON GOLD       58   $9.50
ALWARD (IRE)       57.5   $14
AMOVATIO       57   $21
EMBLEY          56   $71

Am confident that from the draw and under the weight allocations that the top 3 will be in the finish.

Flow has had the measure of Invinzabeel last two starts but the weights are slowly creeping into Invinzabeel's favour.

The thing going for I Am Serious is it's consistency - 12 starts for 7 wins and 4 placings. Flow also has a good strike rate - 19 starts for 5 wins and 8 placings.

All 3 are drawn well. I Am Serious will get back and there should be some pace on.

Mr Sea Wolf will get back and barrier 4 might be a hindrance.

Northwest Passage hasn't raced for 16 months but 7 starts for 5 wins and a placing (one of the wins in Listed class over 2500m) and two trials going into this. Might be a good one to add a bit of value in exotics.

Cup Day. Track is a Firm 2 with prediction of showers from late morning.

Race 1 going for #1 Wainui Gold on the basis that it has been running well with these weights whereas a lot of the other chances are going up under the handicap conditions. But no surprise to see #2, #3, #4 or #5 win - put a line through 6 and below.

Race 2 is a weak maiden and gone for #2 Makfi Amour on the basis that it looked very strong at then end of it's trial win. The other unraced one #3 Pirlo was 2nd to Hayburner in a  trial and that horse has come out since and ran 2nd this class. Both horses well flagged and in the market so the value has gone a bit.

Race 3 the only one I could rule out is the bottom one. Have gone for #4 Pundit - cannot see why it is $17 as it appears very open and drawn to get a gun run. #7 Mosserati appears to have come back for his second campaign a vastly improved horse.

Race 4 #12 Hayburner picks himself from the rails. Place certainty. #2 House Arrest Victorian import will improve over the distance. Forget last run where jockey thought there was something wrong and pulled the horse up.

Race 5 line through 9-11. The 7 might not start. Any of the top 4 plus #8 could win (1 and 3 are out). #6 Paroo River picked on consistency.

Race 6 The Newmarket have selected #6 Divine Dice. Was running away from them at the Goldie and drops 2.5 kg on that run. Ex Victorian who beat stakes placed Sherrif John Stone and was running around against horses like I Boogi and 5th in the Daybreak Lover in 2017. If any rains come get on R6 #9 Sunset Hills

Race 7 the Cup not much mathematically between #13 Mystical Renegade, #7 Red Letter Day and #4 Zamex. The two Dunn runners are drawn best (MR and Z).

Race 8 anything could win this. The old bloke #2 Phrases ran at the Cup meeting at Taree on Sunday and was stuck 3 deep for the last half of the race but he stuck well. As Bindi and Peter do they back them up quickly and with a bit of luck he should be very close to the money at his 4th run back from a long spell. #8 Light Motion over the odds with the featherweight as well.

Best R4 #12 and R6 #6

#1 Destiny's Kiss is something of a freak. He has won 9 Listed races but no Group races

Year   Race Name   Status   Distance
2013   ATC Winter Cup   L   2400m
2016   ATC Australia Day Cup   L   2400m
2016   ATC Christmas Cup   L   2400m
2016   Gos RC Gosford Gold Cup   L   2100m
2017   ATC Australia Day Cup   L   2400m
2017   City Tatt's City Tattersall's Club Cup   L   2400m
2017   Tatt's NSW Tattersall's Club Cup   L   2400m
2017   WyongRC Wyong Gold Cup   L   2100m
2018   ATC W J McKell Cup   L   2400m
He won this race last year.

Now a 10 year old he was with Robert Smerdon originally and at one stage had won 5 out 6 in a row.

Apart from his 9 Listed wins you can add:

3rd 2013 Summer Cup G3
3rd 2013 Tatts Cup LR
3rd 2014 Gosford Cup LR
2nd 2014 McKell Cup LR
3rd 2015 Lord Mayor's Cup LR
3rd 2017 Gosford Cup LR
3rd 2017 Winter Cup LR
3rd 2018 Tatts Cup LR
3rd 2018 Aust Day Cup LR
2nd 2018 Winter Cup LR

Just wonder if he can win with 7 above the limit in a field that is full of runners who have been doing quite well.

Waller and Waterhouse seem to be the key.

A lot of pace in this race. #1 Brotherly's Secret will want to lead as will #5 Landmarks from barrier 16. #8 Skyscraper will also want to be pushing forward from out wide.

If Skyscraper were to guaranteed get some luck I would have it on top.

Looking for a run on horse here. #3 Desert Marshall meets Broth. Secret 4 kg better for being beaten 1.75 over 1300m last start. #4 Distinctive Look is a dual Highway winner who might have had some problems since then. Looked to be given a big hit out in a 1000m trial at Bathurst.

Good meeting at Kembla tomorrow.

R1 #1 Charm Offensive - top rater who is in well at the weights. Should have enough pace to get an OK sit here from the wide barrier as a few of these are slow. #4 His Kingdom was placed in his only start in a feature 2YO race at Muswellbrook.

R2 #5 Sebring Express - if anywhere near it's top will go close on best rated run when placed in town. 2nd to Saturday's Brisbane winner Goldfinch in a trial.

R3 there is a lot of pace and if they ride #4 Nai'a with patience might get the drop on them. #2 Kathmandu has never been out fo a place in 7 runs and has a second to Stella Victoria in the formlines (another Brisbane winner on Saturday!!)

R4 Extremely open race where I put a line through 5, 8 and  afew down the bottom and gave everything else a chance. The two favourites are niclkey bred but too short in this field for mine.

R5 #8 Semper Videlis resumed like a new horse and Waller horses when they hit their form usually maintain it. This looks ideal placement and has drawn 4 where it will get a nice sit.

R6 Favourites all look a chance but no fun in the odds. Interesting debut runner in #10 Sparkling Rose by Charge Forward and which is related to Grosvenor and National Gallery as well as a direct female line to Gay Poss who was a very good horse all those years ago.

R7 I thought #10 Ligulate looked excellent each way value at the $5 given it ran 2nd to Stakes winner Futooh then 5th to Slipper winner Estijaab before a spell. Won it's maiden then 5th in town to Reginae beaten only 2.9 lengths when got too far back.

BEST: R5 #8 into each way R7 #10

Parlay R1, R3, R5 and R7.
