Had high hopes for Calliope last time in but was a bit of a let down at the end of prep. Maybe more mature now??

I was on Manaya, overraced but pretty disappointing. Noticed the trainer mentioned she may have come up a bit light but honestly thought he was fishing for a price. Basically a self admission of trainer error with your most high profile horse, not great advertising. Honest at least I guess.

Winner was impressive, better than I thought.

Manaya also missed some work in the lead-up to the race
