They need to rethink the 100k BM75 final race in the future, cheapens the other good, time honoured races on the card. This should be some kind of country sprint final for that money, or the listed and G3 races need to be made worth significantly more.

Sticking with Bart, he's been so consistent to beat The Quarterback / Flamberge & Sheidel.

Gee it's hard not to go wide when looking at the First four, impossible!

Deserving winner can't begrudge him, haven't seen the replay yet but Supido did a good job posted a bit wide. Got to the last leg of the quaddy and busted out by House Of Wax..  :bleh:

Black Heart Bart goes straight into the Stradbroke in 3 weeks time.

His 4 start Eastern States record now is 2 wins (G3 Victoria Hcp and G1 Goodwood) and 2 seconds (G1 Newmarket and G1 All Aged Stks).

A win in the Stradbroke wouldn't surprise given those stats. He really is top shelf.

Really happy for the owners of BHB. They got an offer of I think 500k for him when
he had won 4 or 5 races and about 200k but decided they were in the horse for "fun".

He hasd now won $1.6 million for them

Great return from Prince Of Penzance, would have won clearly with any kind of tempo on up front. Fantastic photo of him on the front page of the Adelaide Sunday Mail yesterday, good stuff.

Tall Ship worked home ok clearly still carrying lots of condition, pass mark.

Alpine Eagle has turned very dour, really should have won with that run, granted he was coming back from a long layoff. Looked really good and reasonably fit in the yard though.
