Given the nudge towards Media Award did he also back the winner of the 8th at Ascot?

 NO

Don't do Perth JWH.

Didn't have to leave Racing. com all day......how good was that!
I did make sure that maniac jockey from NSW was nowhere near Adelaide.....Phew!...thank God for that!

The Nemesis I used to ride was a son of Gigantic who had an amazing extended trot.....just when I thought I had mastered the "rise to the trot" I came across him. :what:
I'll never forget you fella.

And a very big "well done" to Chris Calthorpe.....how good is that?

Gutsy little filly, Media Award does turn out to be "pretty good"   emthup

Well done!

My only bet was a double on shop till I drop into yours in the oaks (with flexible) after I missed on the first leg I didnít bother checking.  :(  :bash: :bash:

I'm looking forward to the SA Derby.....looks to have the most depth of any of the Derbies.

I was very keen on Liquero originally,  but going through the field I'll be backing 3 horses.
Liquero by Fiorente ex Galileo mare, Deepstrike by Tavistock ex Zabeel mare and even Miletus by Olympic Glory ex Montjeu mare, all appeal.
Liquero looks to have strong stayer written all over him.
Deepstrike looked really impressive when asked for something at Sandown, never got a crack last start and while it could just be the price that appeals with Miletus, I hope they let him run along a bit......nothing like last start.

I do see a real staying test tomorrow......just need an even track......might be a couple of light showers around.
Good to see people taking their staying bred mares to staying stallions.

Good luck to Royal Mileís connections and to the young jockey 🏇

Hopefully last run didnít take too much out of him.

I think heís destined for better races this will give us some more clues.

The winner was impressive not sure what happened to royal mile hardly spotted him in the race. Gave the place getters a lesson last time out. Hopefully the horse is ok.

Yeah just watched the stewards film got knocked back a couple of times in the running. I think they rode him too conservatively should have pressed forward at the start but itís easy to say after the event. Was finishing as well as anything in the race but deserved to as he didnít travel as far as the winner. The apprentice will learn a lot from that ride. Hopefully comes back fit and well next preparation.

Well I did get my horses up on the pace as I hoped but no result.
Miletus was resenting something the whole race and looked awful pulling up.
Liqueuro was too bad to be true......has pulled up lame in the foreleg......it will be a real tragedy if he has injured a tendon.

What can you say other than well done to Vic's leading trainers?......their horses sure are very strong.

Royal Mile looks a nice horse.

Iíve been lucky to have been on the last couple of wins and still looks to learning the game.
There were obviously plenty of punters waiting for this fellow to come to Melbourne.
He's in the Eclipse Stakes over 1800m at Caulfield.....on the minimum...54kgs

TAB opened him at $15....did get into $6.. :o

I took $11 on Sportsbet.....now $7

That is sad news for SA racing. Wonder how long SA racing can keep losing itís big names. With all the extra tax revenue wonder why they are so far behind other states. Hayes, Cummings, Hawkes all came from there too.

While I'm not sure about the Group 1 status of The Australasian Oaks, it has drawn a good field.

I really like Mike Moroney's So You Think filly So You See.
She's a horse that looked very classy from the first time she appeared.
Hasn't always had a lot of luck either.

Been a big year for So You Think and Mike Moroney.

I have backed The Map as well @$80 and $19.
Needs another scratching to get in but looks to be a promising filly as well.
Alpine Eagle is leaving nice types.....no surprise at all because he was magnificent looking thoroughbred.

One thing about Sth Australian racing, they have a great track at Morphettville.

I was on Bundle of Fun in Tassie where she did the job well knocking off Honeycreeper who came to Sydney winning the Adrian Knox.

Check out her last run in readiness for this, held up and flashed through once clear. She'll give this a shake.

Always interesting watching the orchestrated timing of "when the money goes on"

I took $12.75 and $3.8 for Nicajon on Thursday.... Morphettville R9...on the main track
Nice horse without a great winning record after doing a tendon on a Moonee Valley concrete Good 3.....2 1/2 years ago.
Went from $14 to $8 or so across TAB, Sportsbet and Bet 365 around the same time this morning.

Hope the son of Clangalang can win ....a couple of good 1700m runs, been luckless a bit and 51kgs is a really light weight for him.
Not familiar with the 3 kg claiming jockey...A Chung...hope he can steer well!

I do have a good memory Wily,...for a nice thoroughbred that is, but then I don't bet across the whole of this wide land.

Nicajon is a nice looking horse that I spotted some time ago.....have a look at him today.
Nice little chance today and it would appear a few  thought that...at about the same time this morning.

The "toe in" went out of Moonee Valley a few years ago.....been crippling horses for a while now.
Esp the Friday night good 3s.......doesn't really comply with the RVL track policy ...the way I read it.
