Not much form to go on in the opener at SC today.

One runner of interest is Easy Rocking filly #8 FUNTANTES.  She's a half sister to the handy 3yo Brilliantes.  This is her first run after two trials.  She was scratched EF on Friday.

Local colt #6 PONCHITO has gone OK two runs this prep and looks the testing material.

Nice one DD - exciting race to kick-start the program. First and second looked pretty good.

I thought for sure that Jana Piper's horse got up on the inside.

I got a bit of time for Ryan Wiggins as a jockey. Appears to be a hard worker.

In the next, I might have a dabble on Pope's mount, Mercent.  e/w

Yeah, Sky thought the inside had won, but I was pretty confident the filly had arrived.  She's obviously pretty talented.

You'd need to wear a mask if you're betting in Race 2.  Lots of chances.  I thought there was some place value in Gympie steed #8 WILLIAMSTOWN.  He can't draw a box and will go back.  Hope he can run on.

Good result, gratlog.

You don't wanna be told I had also written "Other chances 3, 5, and 10", but deleted it.  One super platinum subscriber got the numbers and he hasn't stopped celebrating.

Gee the Brian Guy and young Ric Mc combo have had some winners this year.  emthup

I know a few forumites aren't real keen on Ric as a rider but I reckon he is getting better all the time. If he is good enough for Mr Guy , then he will do me.
