Also interesting the favourite is to be ridden by a 3kg apprentice who won't be able to claim.

All up there's six apprentices in the race not taking their weight relief.

The race looks impossible, but my numbers are : 11-5-10-3-15-4

From a betting viewpoint I'll probably have sometihng on Trubia & Weinholt and a little on Bidii Babe as I've been on the last few starts at big odds.

Hope you backed Weinholt each way. Well spotted. Paid $31.90 the place in NSW.   emthup

I apologize to those that backed Bidii Babe. That was me.

Today I've backed 0 winners and seconds Prometheus, Another Sin, Epic Moment, Pinch Passion, Bidii Babe and even my getout bet at the Goldie Tycoon Rossa ran 2nd so I take full responsibility for Bidii Babe

Yeah, I took $21 fixed - Paid $59+ Betfair SP place but I have no idea how a bet would have affected that.

Have to say I got a little excited at the 150  :embarrassed:

That horse in the last race #13 Quick Ketch cost me a squillion last start when it won the last knocking me out of the quaddie.

That aside, it was a really impressive win from a lightly raced horse. Around the $9 mark. Might see if he will repay me some money

Track is a Heavy 8 and I note Ipswich was off today.

I had these picked out but am having second thoughts:

R5 #1 Snitz - looks a weighted certainty
R4 #10 Alluvion - got beat 3.4 lengths by Deploy in a Group 3 sprint last campaign. If he brings that form he will be very hard to beat.
R2 #3 Estikhraaj - the 54 kg looks a luxury if you see what he has been carrying in his races. Lack of pace being the only worry.

R6 #1 All Summer Long. The form guides show it winning a Class 4 race at Newcastle by 6.8 lengths last start but that was the result of a tearaway. Has a poor win strike rate and the 3rd horse in that race has come out and been thrashed even more since and I'd be wary of backing it as a favourite - currently $4.80. I think there is better value to be had in the race.

12 0583x22241 OREGONíS DAY Mick Price Jim Byrne 2 57kg
13 x72586x655 ABBEY MARIE Michael Kent Matthew McGillivray 5 57kg

Hard to see anything that was beaten by #12 Oregon's Day last start turning the tables under the same weight scale.

#8 Life Less Ordinary had a romp in the Wagga Cup beating vastly inferior company.

#13 Abbey Marie was almost identical to Oregon's Day in the Queen Of the Turf behind Alizee.

#3 Ambitious was 2nd to Almandin in the Tancred but two indifferent runs either side over 2000m.

It never entered my head that after backing Princess Posh at Scone where she couldn't get hot Kris Lees would bring her to Brisbane where she would run a close if lucky second to The Bostonian at her next start she never left the fence that day and meets him 5kg better she'll likely get the same run today probably a bit closer drawn 3 in lieu of 10 last time...very hard race on paper the topical tip is Endless Drama also a chance on its last run.

Giddy Up

Mr Quickie now into $2.9 for the QLD Derby  :o

He was an enormous run in Adelaide, checked at the start, had to possie up too far back but made up a stack of ground.

I'm on pre post at $8, give him strength
