Why would you even be bothered looking at an application from Nikolic.  Just put it straight in the recycle bin where it belongs.

QRIC is obliged to follow proper process ....your comment might come true........but public opinion isn't a consideration ..after all the form filling is done and considered......  the final hurdle is  the fit and proper person test........others have done time and have been readmitted to the industry....... it's the same outside racing for those committing minor misdemeanors most eventually get a chance to rehabilitate themselves....it's enshrined in the system.

Arsenal , let me acknowledge firstly my own respect for your beliefs in a fair go system and the rules of justice. The problem I struggle with in this instance is that in this coves history there are many matters where several serious major crimes have not been solved.  Of course that does not suggest guilt . However in matters relating to the determination of  a " a fit and proper Person " they do not swing on the rule of Law.  Let these matters be resolved and see if he then is within the criteria.

Just watched the replays of the Dalby races Today. The complete ineptitude of Stewards never ceases to amaze me. When they interview some of these morons for these jobs  why don't they get someone with even a basic knowledge of Racing to test their skills.
They don't ; because I would suggest that those doing the hiring are just as incompetent as those applying. Watch the run of a well fancied runner in the last at Dalby. I think he ran 5th . I know the horse and I am the first to agree that he is limited (extremely) But so was the opposition. How  was he tailed off ten lengths against these cattle ? Don't go looking in the "Stewards Report" , you wont find anything there. Sure he was coming back in trip; but he is still a 1000 metre winner , so he is probably not getting ready for Oakbank.
The so called "Stewards " job is to ask the question. That is all they have to do . There are three possibilities why they didn't. A) they are simply incompetent B) they were in a hurry to get a home or C) they don't want to start something as one steward once said to me. The sad fact is that the taxpayer is forking out millions every year in the name of "Integrity". It isn't "Integrity". It is window dressing.

You would think the stewards would have asked for an explanation on the run of Tyres Are Crucial  it couldn't keep up early 15L away according to the caller but only beaten 1.2L started equal favourite @4.80 so while it's no world beater should go better  when in a more suitable race Bryan Dias would most likely sack it if he thinks it hasn't any prospects he's a good man with a horse IMO....this is the race plus it's under performing record from Racenet.
