Ted

I have read your posts since this forum began but the following just takes the cake.

he even dribbles the ever shrinking{ever growing} number of shit-thetic track protesters is behind it......hey benthead you piece of slimey shit{hi porky}.....did that slimey statement mean that because the great jj atkins died recently the number has decreased you pathetic piece of  :censored: ing puss

I read the supposed comment released from RQ that might have brought on such a vile response even on your terms.

An email published on the website appears to suggest that Racing Queensland has chosen not to pursue positive swabs against a certain trainer in "the region". The email apparently came from Toowoomba, in all likelihood from the ever shrinking group of anti-Cushion Track agitators.

I can only assume that this is the part of the RQ media release that you take exception to and which leads me to the belief that you are the  :censored: idiot that I always thought.

you obviosly hav a reel problem with RQ (for reasons most of us are aware) to make the assumption that this has anythink too doo wit the late (and respected JJ Atkins) is onli confirmining the thoorts of the majoity onhere that u r a  :censored:idiot.

As of tonight you are on my ignore button u  :censored: idiot

Here is  post from another forum,

Quote
What is Qld Racing thinking?
They have got to be kidding. Looking at holding races on the inside grass track which greyhounds would have trouble getting around to rest the cushion track over the hot summer months because of the heat.
Two of the leading local jockeys Damien Browne and Ken Pope have said they will not ride in these races because it is to dangerous. Damien said that even riding trials with only 6 horses in it is hair raising because they can't handle the home turn. Imagine the carnage with a full racing field.
Qld Racing still haven't decided the size of those fields by the way but I would imagine it couldn't be too many more.
So what to we gather from this. They stuffed up with the cushion track and desperate to find an alternative to racing on the cushion during the day?
When does jockey safety come before greed?

From RQL

20 August 2010

Review of Toowoomba Turf Club payment completed

Racing Queensland Limited (RQL) today announced the outcome of its review of the gratuity payment made by the Toowoomba Turf Club for the benefit of its former chairman.

Director of integrity operations Mr Jamie Orchard said that RQL established that the Club had made a payment of approximately $11,500 to a travel agent to pay for an overseas family trip for the former chairman in recognition of his service to the Club.

An executive committee of the Club approved the payment which was later ratified by resolution of the committee, Mr Orchard said.

However, the Racing Act 2002 prevents clubs from paying its money to members and, without RQLs consent, from making special payments. As RQL found that the payment was made contrary to those prohibitions, the Club has been required to seek recovery of the full amount of the payment or otherwise have those responsible for approving the payment compensate the Club.  These steps are required to be taken by September 30, 2010.

RQL also found that the Clubs internal systems for the approval and payment of expenses was below the standard expected and has requested the Club to report to RQL by September 30, 2010 how those systems have been improved.

Ends.

For further information contact RQL director of integrity operations Mr Jamie Orchard on 07 3689 9742
