I suspect Velvet dud is why we have not heard from nemesis...

I wasn't a winner.....make you happy?....I lose regularly.....like most punters.

Quite pleased I managed to get through the day with my deposit limit....I was still going in the last race.
I knew early on that my backmarkers bets were going to struggle.

Did manage The Sydney Cup quinella and thought that $35 was a bit crazy about Think It Over....put $2 e/w
I can show tickets if you like.

Just on Velvet Lady....she's been purchased by Australian Bloodstock.
Would have cost a pretty penny.....very good staying filly, just not her day today.
She certainly wasn't the only backmaker to fail today.....happy goose!

nemisis I did not lose today but I have certainly lost on other days..

No win bets is the main reason I did not lose.

A day of high variance and I decided long ago to make variance my friend rather than my problem.

Would have been a good day for some....esp. punters who like the So You Think breed.
Good luck to them.....A losing day for me is not a painful experience, my strict betting deposit and strict account balance makes sure of that.
Dart board would have had a good day as well today

I thought Stockman was a certainty for today's cup up until 3 or 4 races in....glad I didn't pile in early!
