Many thanks to Gratlog for advise on how to start a new post.

Woohoo my fave time of the year when the babies hit the track, next Monday Cranbourne has 8 trials for 2yo's so I for one just can't wait, our trials in Qld have been held up owing to the EI so I have suffered badly with withdrawl symptons.
May they all come through safely...go the new sires like Lonhro

It is well known Toowoomba always has the first QLD 2yo trials and then the first 2yo race the Fitton but not this year due to EI outbreak, the Fitton was due to run last Saturday with horses from the trials making up the field but with no trials being held the Fitton will be run on 4/10 with a filly's and colt/geld division which makes it hard to pick the winners with no trials to give an indication to what horses are forward so I will have to look to Qld's best 2yo trainer Darryl Gollen and Mark Webb's stable to hopefully find a winner. :icon_study:

Koolcat, haven't been able to check out any trial form lately, but David Hayes is always the unknown quantity because all his training is done @ Lindsay Park & only insiders get to see them run.Us mere mortals see them on race day.In S.A. it's not compulsory to trial a 2yo,so a lot of it is up to homework on breeding & trainers & luck on the day.

Oops there I go again,I realised after I did my post that it was only a trial and I'm grateful for your input to what happens in SA,I'm having a very bad week started off Monday with getting shopping Parcels stolen (and when you are as frugal as me that hurts)then last night a firebug set fire to trees in my yard which was very stressful and frightening,I was in bed with the blinds open when I heard what I thought was a branch falling then an explosion and my bedroom lit up from the flames glow, now 11am and still waiting for police to arrive,I phoned local member who told me my fire made the 11th since last Tuesday week, not one thing in media warning us.

Damn , i could imagine how frightening that would have been for you Kool, the stupidity of somebody who would do some thing like that is just astounding  :(

Bloody bored school kids with parents that get paid too much money to sit home and have kids by Mr Howard instead of getting a job and paying their way in life instead of living off welfare, they obviously tried my security out beforehand as they didn't set security light off at all and they are very sensitive to movement.
