And thank God for the roughies Peter......I would have been smashed otherwise.
I refuse to bury my head in a form guide these days, pretending to have some ability to 'rate or rank ability"
The old track and distance theory seem to hold up well at the moment.....that'll do!.
A quick look at the 4th in Adelaide, 10 mins before the jump I saw a horse with an excellent track and distance record with a bit of 'Gytrash form"
The horse down the bottom with a bit of soft form and good fresh stat.
$2 eachway the pair and a $1 quinella, paid huge!.......thank you very much.
Didn't back Chapel City but it is worth looking at that horse's track and distance stats on 4 and 5 rated tracks.
The only thing wrong there was the 'experts' and 'form analysts' hopelessly underrated him.
Is a $151 the price of a horse with a track and distance record like that.....there are times in racing it pays not to "know" too much.
I enjoyed Adelaide......track looked great, nice racing surface over the 3 days for the horses and no bias
