OK,

Been doing some work on a NEW Theme and it's now at the point of being operational and I am looking for some feedback.

Don't panic if you don't like it as you can change back to the old one by going to

http://www.racehorsetalk.com.au/index.php?action=profile;sa=theme

And clicking on the first option

Current Theme: Adagio (change)

And changing it back to the SMF Default Theme

But would appreciate some feedback first though

Cheers

Why keep changing everything?

I just want to click onto the same thing all the time.

Probably best to keep the old one as default, since it has been in use for awhile and let anyone who wants to use the new theme choose to use it themselves... anytime you put out a new theme etc. you could let everyone know with a post and maybe put up a screenshot or something?

We all know people are resistant to change - even when they aren't totally happy to begin with

If I did that BT, then I wouldn't get any feedback  :p

Is there anyway of making the VIEW of this site smaller ? without me having to go to my VIEW text size.

Thanks

Matt

No feedback is the best kind... means you don't need to do anything more as people are content... even if only grudgingly content

Nah, the font is fine, definitely doesn't need to be made smaller... you can always hit 'ctrl' + '-' on most browsers to make fonts smaller

I think the text colour is a little too similar to the background colour. Also it is harder to notice now when you have read posts etc.

Magic - I don't mind the colours but it seems quite narrow down the middle on the main page.

Also when you select something from the board menu, when that page opens the actual list of topic headings seems lost (narrow again) who started the topic and who posted last are quite wide but the actual topic seems cramped.

It's just modifying it in your browser, so - depending on your browser - may make fonts on all sites smaller, or it could just apply it to this one if it's smart enough...
