Those of you betting into Supertab at mugs' rakes (and almost certainly losing) may be interested in seeing what you are subsidising.

Hardly mundane schools and hospitals.

On the off chance anyone needs to be reminded, philanthropist David Walsh is Zeljko's sidekick.

"These include a new version of Wim Delvoye’s Cloaca. The machine, which simulates the human digestive process, creates excrement which is apparently indistinguishable from the real thing. It will be the first version of the work which Delvoye has sold to a museum.

....

Walsh says he intends to feed the machine with the rotting meat from another work of art, a 1998 Untitled installation by Jannis Kounellis which incorporates seven carcasses of beef. These will be left hanging in the museum for three days before they are used in Delvoye’s installation.
The smell of the rotting beef and the excrement from Cloaca may be too much for some visitors but to Walsh they are important. “Aren’t we just machines for manufacturing shit?” he asks. “Real people try to conceal the various modalities that they operate in,” he says."

Many more articles are appearing about David Walsh, and this trend should escalate as the launch to his grand plan nears.

Interestingly none of the articles come close to revealing the truth of how Walsh obtained the major stash that could well disappear through a cloaca, should sanity prevail.

That truth (well on the public record) is that Walsh achieved his curious gains by cutting deals with convicted criminals in corrupt tax havens to allow him to fraudulently enjoy obscene kickbacks.

Allowing him to shaft all of us trying to get by, enduring the standard rake.

Apparently the stewards here are not with it.

This is not about lifestyle talk.

This is about how every single punter here is getting shafted.

The biggest impact that is destroying racing.

How can you not know who the world's biggest punter's sidekick is?

This affects everybody here, as all are losing out to this philanthropist.

There is incessant verbosity here about inconsequential matters.

Fractions, for example, only affect punters' returns by <1%.

Yet this matter affects astute punters' returns by over 10%.

Hence is the biggest threat to the viability of Australian racing.

JFC,

Rebates are available to anyone who does the turnover and cuts the deal.  Same thing happens in all businesses.  Larger customers get the biggest cut.  If you got good, you could apply for the same deals.

Being as arrogant as you are, and knowing everything about everyone and everything, I would of thought you could handicap better than them.

Because that's what all this bitching is about.  It's cause Zjelko/Walsh did it and not you.  It's cause they are smarter and now richer than you.  And you can't figure it out.  So you bitch.

As for the poo machine...  Yep weird... Can't figure out if Walsh is half crazy - Or just trying to appear crazy for attention.  Wonder how many millions he's churned through with his ventures in Tasmania now days.

InnerWiz,

I would of been more impressed with your polemic if you'd of avoided that grammatical obscenity that has infested the Betfair Forum.

http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/couldof.html

However the amply documented VITAB scam was an unequivocal comprehensive fraud.

Moderators, particularly Shaun, please note that touchy f-word was explicitly used in the pertinent Burbridge Report and Hansard.

Considering the Zeljko-Walsh group was a (if not the) major shareholder of VITAB, and the chief kickback beneficiary by far, and funneled its funds through documented bogus accounts, and did not receive exoneration like Robert James Lee Hawke did, it is hard for any reasonable person to conclude that that duo was completely oblivious to the goings on.

Now, evidently you consider that I have a character flaw, through not emulating those pieces of work.

Granted, I don't knowingly cut deals with convicted criminals in corrupt regimes. Neither do I commit fraud. And I don't have any intention of removing $6 million of funds otherwise intended for hospitals and schools, to bolster my ego.

Perhaps my deficiency limits my chances of getting invites to bacchanalian drug-fuelled harbour cruises, but I don't lose any sleep over that.

The associated audios are interesting.

Walsh is curiously genteel and has even given his trademark potty mouth a short rest.

Extremely out of character.

Earlier I published calculations showing that because of the outrageous kickbacks enjoyed by this alleged philanthropist, the Victorian TAB returns only ~80% of patrons' money.

So these kickbacks affect said patrons by over 5 times as much as the much-maligned dividend truncations.

The kickbacks also allow your idols to crush pools so that everything becomes an Under (except to them of course) so that no one else has any chance of being a long term winner.

What's there to figure out?

Someone on those kickbacks with zero knowledge of handicapping can easily guarantee risk-free winnings by simply backing every runner to gross a set return, through the best of:

Win Supertab
Win Betfair
Exacta Win regression
Rubble Win regression

That would certainly produce a market below 100%.

Pity about everyone else who would then be scratching to find a single Over after that manoeuvre.

Instead of taking this thinly-veiled polemic as a sign to mend his ways, Walsh actually reproduced it on his commercial site.

http://moorilla.com.au/files/pdf/thecollector.pdf

But consider this excerpt:

"Walsh cannot help but push people
out of their creative comfort zones.
He has high expectations - of
himself, and others. He points out
your every grammatical, lexical and
logical mistake,
and makes puns
at your expense - usually in good
humour."

What about mistakes in just one of many Walsh's recent odes to shit?

“Aren’t we just machines for manufacturing shit?”

Actually I disproved that many decades ago with this original amended observation.

You are what you eat
minus what you excrete

But leaving aside the strict mathematics of the question, consider Bill Gates:

Besides the obvious aforementioned excrement, his early diet of Pizza and Jolt Cola manufactured one the biggest anti-competitive corporations with garbage products around.

These days, perhaps on a more age-appropriate diet, he might be manufacturing the salvation of a billion poor people.

And even if there are some people who fit Walsh's generalisation, e.g. spin-doctors wouldn't it be better to tell them "Try to manufacture something besides shit".

How heartwarming that taxpayer-junketed jaundiced journalists are now evangelising Walsh's sermon on the dunny.

If Walsh wants to lazily term his eyesore an "Un-museum", then he should change the MONA acronym.

And surely he should have looked up the antonym of "muse" to instead arrive at "ignoreum"?

Still UMOANA premieres tonight to alleged A-list celebrities.

$70 million for a sandstone excavation with flooding issues, customised to the size of irregular exhibits, in the middle of nowhere, with limited parking and public transport could end up worthless, if patrons don't overwhelmingly embrace the dead flies, defecation, urine, offal, rotting animal carcasses, anal inspections and a geriatric peep show on view.

Were you an invited guest at the opening of the museum yesterday JFC ?

http://www.theage.com.au/entertainment/art-and-design/hobarts-infamous-son-plays-to-the-gallery-20110121-1a01z.html

Regrettably there was was a scheduling clash with the Wenty BIG6.

However I did compensate by creatively rearranging some dead cockroaches closer to my Rolf Harris collection.

Meanwhile it's interesting how the 1,300 invited celebrities are so far keeping a very uncharacteristic low profile.

This is funny:

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/02/15/3138998.htm

This alleged savant spends $70 million to house his deranged ideas, and can't figure out anti-theft technology to protect him from the subversives he's encouraging.

I suspect you're mistaken.

Considering jockeys need to be well balanced in their profession, that certainly rules out David Dominic Walsh.

And I suspect the only horse he's had any association with is the pantomine kind.

Meanwhile this contains a curious account about his roulette talents.

The 300 large won't make much of a dent in that $7 million Keno shortfall.

Only a few hours until 22:09 when Channel 2 shows us exorbitantly-raked punters the fruits of the VITAB fraud and Tasmanian kickbacks.

Where multi-millions disappear through an artifical cloaca, and too many vaginas are never enough.

And in a curious coincidence, immediately after at 22:45 Channel 72 presents a film whose title would also have been appropriate for Walsh's oversized underground dead-fly infested dunny:

Would you believe:

Walsh is on record that Zeljko part-finances his weird pursuits.

Walsh does own a few mainland mansions (I suspect one was in the complex that Russell Crowe is just vacating).

The program increases my suspicion that this will go belly up.

If so Walsh might probably get $100 million for the art, but the other $100 million for the cave looks worthless.

I thought the program was better than some of the sycophantic rubbish spewed out about Walsh, but still didn't go far enough.

The subject is screaming out for an intense one on one full hour interview of Walsh with Robert Hughes (the famous iconoclastic art critic). A sure fire ratings winner but I don't think the MONA minders would risk such glasnost.

Boy the computer censor certainly is touchy.

Particularly since Walsh is on record as terming himself precisely that.

Hopefully this alternative will survive:
