Delbridge had their 1st winner under trainer R F Cameron yesterday with the win of TRANSLATION at SEYMOUR in the Showcase 1300m race.  8-)

it was a very good win with him coming from well back and running away from them in the last 200m

Cameron trains 4 horses for us at Delbridge from RIVEREND PARK

hopefully this will be a good weekend coming up with LONGSTREET running at BALLINA tomorrow and THIRTY SEVEN MEGS and SCKELLYTON at TATURA on Sunday

Our colt SHAMOLINE WARRIOR who is the half brother to the Derby winner REBEL RAIDER comes back into the KAVANAGH stable through Jan 09 which is very exciting for all involved in him.

We have a 2YO UMATILLA filly up for sale at the moment so if anyone was interesed in a share please PM me for further details.

Cheers
KL

Some good success lately for DELBRIDGE

Thirty Seven Megs was very very impressive at Seymour last week and finally put it together and won like a very good horse.

Biggest news this week is DRIZZLE lining up for his 3rd WIN in a row in the MAGIC MILLIONS STAYERS RACE on the GOLD COAST this Saturday.

Good luck to the old warhorse in his quest

Going well the firm ......

The horse 37 Meg beat is owned by a friend of my bro ...... they were very confident on the day and the way 37 beat him suggests many more wins are on the agenda .......

What can you say about Drizzle except good luck to the old fella ......My immediate thoughts when he won last time were for Carmel Sherer who had passed away just recently from cancer . I think many more will be thinking of her if he can get up again in the Stayer's Cup ..... it was she, afterall, who selected him at those sales some years ago ..... GO DRIZZLE !!

Delbridge have another horse on offer to be trained by M Kavanagh with our current 2yo Colt SHAMOLINE WARRIOR who is a half brother to REBEL RAIDER not far from starting.

pls see below -

Delbridge Racing is offering ownership shares in a yearling filly purchased at the recent Karaka Sales in New Zealand by Mark Kavanagh. The filly (pictured and pedigree attached) is by ONE COOL CAT from the MONTJEU mare SERAPHINA and will be trained at Flemington by Mark Kavanagh.

This is the second yearling selected by GROUP 1 trainer Mark Kavanagh (THE KAV) for Delbridge Racing. After selecting the half-brother to the subsequent Derby winner, REBEL RAIDER, for us at last years Inglis Premier sale THE KAV has delivered again by selecting this quality filly.

So would you like to race a horse with THE KAV and Delbridge Racing?

Before you answer this question please consider the information below:
the yearling is a bay filly by ONE COOL CAT from SERAPHINA
she was purchased at the world renowned 2009 Kararka Sales in New Zealand which each year produces more Group 1 winners in Australia/NZ than any other sale
the sire ONE COOL CAT stands at SIR PATRICK HOGAN'S Cambridge Stud one of the best Stud Farms in the world and Patrick is a member of the Australian Racing Hall of Fame
the broodmare sire is MONTJEU was a champion racehorse and Head of The 1999 International 3YO Classification & Champion European 3YO Colt, Top of The 2000 International 4YO+ Classification and Top of The 2000 International 4YO+ Classification (long) and winner of the French Derby, Gr.1, Irish Derby, Gr.1, Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, Gr.1, Ascot King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond S., Gr.1, Curragh Tattersalls Gold Cup, Gr.1, Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, Gr.1,
the mare SERAPHINA is by MONTJEU and was a $350,000 yearling herself.
ONE COOL CAT was a Group 1 winner
ONE COOL CAT progeny sold for up to $925,00 in his first crop at last years sales. At the NZ National Premier Yearling Sales at Karaka in 2008 a One Cool Cat x Diamond Cashel filly achieved second top priced lot at $925,000. A One Cool Cat - Tricia Ann filly sold for $840,000. One Cool Cat was the Leading NZ Based First Season Sire for the 2008 National Yearling Sales with an aggregate of $4,625,000 and an average of $192,708.
From only 3 2-y-olds horses to race in Australia so far ONE COOL CAT is 11th on the First Season sirs list and already has a stakes placed runner.
THE KAV inspected, selected and purchased this yearling for DELBRIDGE RACING
last year THE KAV selected a Shamardal yearling, SHAMOLINE WARRIOR, for Delbridge Racing and 6 months later his younger half-brother, REBEL RAIDER, won the Victorian Derby
the filly has passed all extensive vet and x-ray checks
THE KAV will train the horse at Flemington
New Zealand bred hoses win a large % of Australian black type races
In recent years the Karaka sales has produced high-quality group 1 winners such as EFFICIENT, EL SEGUNDO, STARCRAFT, XCELLENT, MASTER O'REILLY, RAILINGS, VENGENCE OF RAIN, ALAMOSA, SWICK, SOUSA, ESKIMO QUEEN, SIR SLICK, ORANGE COUNTY, HEADTURNER, DARCI BRAHMA, PERLIN, DE BEERS, ECONSUL and MARJU SNIP to name few.
THE KAV trained last years COX PLATE winner MALDIVIAN and the Caulfield Guineas winner WHOBEGOTYOU
this filly's bloodlines include NORTHERN DANCER, VAIN, STORM CAT, MONTJEU, MR PROSPECTOR, SIR TRISTRAM, SECRETARIAT, SADLERS WELLS - a who's who of bloodlines
DELBRIDGE RACING selected and syndicated horses have a runners to winners strike rate of 79%
DELBRIDGE RACING is a proven syndicator of big race winners having won 2 Magic Millions races
the filly will be a valuable broodmare after her racing career
A dual Group 1 winner juvenile champion European 2 yr old colt ONE COOL CAT was the highest priced yearling sold in the USA in 2002 at $3,100,000.
Jockey Michael Kinane described ONE COOL CAT as having "more natural speed than any other Storm Cat I ever sat on"
MR JB "BART" CUMMINGS purchased progeny of ONE COOL CAT at both this years and last years Karaka sales.
THE KAV selected this filly based both on her breeding and her confirmation and thinks she is great value

shares of 2.5%, 5% and 10% are available.
