When you're looking at the amount of money in all the pools for any specific race on tab.com.au (shown under the list of horses) - do those pool $ amounts already have the TAB's 14.25%-25% commission cut taken out?

Or do they include their commission, i.e. you'd need to deduct the commission % from those numbers yourself to figure out the real amount that will be distributed to the winning punters?

Yes - the commission has already been removed from a Jackpot.

I don't think he is talking about the jackpots.

He is asking about the pool amounts at the bottom of the page.

I had always assumed they were gross but happy to be corrected.

Jfc right for Jackpots only ( all he mentioned ) and PP7 right for the remainder of the pool.

I think they are grossed up mate (as fours says).

The highlight figure for the race clubs is "we held $X on this event" so they publish the pools with the bigger figure i.e. before taking anything out.
