Minutes after Shrewd Rhythm's bold win in the Vain Stakes at Caulfield it was revealed the horse has been sold to David Hayes. The deal was stitched up on Friday night. The sale comes as a blow to trainer Greg Eurell, who won 3 races from 5 starts with the 3YO colt.

Queensland trainer John Wallace's 6-months disqualification for an elevated bicarbonate level in his galloper Boffa at the Gold Coast in March ends at midnight tonight.

He had 30 horses in training when disqualified and will be be looking to get atleast some of these back.

Mitanni has been in work with Jim Anderson for awhile now, but JP will be getting him back once he has approval from the GCTC to train at the track. He has also acquired Soulacroix to train for Paul Makin.

Top Melbourne winning trainer George Hanlon (90) got an $18.00 winner Boulton home at Sandown on Friday.  I'm sure George trained a Melbourne Cup winner along with heaps of city winners.
