It is with a heavy heart, but a lighter wallet, that I report the consignment of Ipswich racing to the scrap heap, for my betting purposes. My methodology worked a treat there for years........until the watershed  maybe 2 years ago, which has become a rout that I now, belatedly,  recognize as no statistical glitch. Figuratively speaking, something has gone terribly wrong in the motorcade....who were those shadowy figures behind the grassy knoll ? If anyone can tell me if/how an excel graph can be put on here, you will see what I mean. Quite annoying really, but I don't know what has changed, most  other tracks haven't

Max, I think you have made a good move. Never follow good money after bad and if you have evidence to suggest you have lost your edge at Ipswich over time then it is time to direct your money and work to others tracks that still provide you with profit. Good luck there

and that from a bookie thats been winning for 30 years, wheres the proof,he said so FFS.
max if you are winning at tracks ,where the same jockeys and trainers race at,as do at ipswich, then something has crept into the way you do your ratings or methods you use,or something, not knowing how you arrive at your selections,i can't say what, but its a safer bet to say that the fault probably lies with something you're doing.
have you heard the saying,a good handicapper will survive if they raced around a half mile oval, whereas the one with flaws in his handicapping will struggle on a perfect track?
you obviously keep all records,so a pattern should show up,besides the one of your losses, start analysing or keep looking if you have already started.
ps b/bookie just gave you evidence

We can use excel spreadsheets here so why not  give it a go. Copy and paste to the HTML Conversion basic when you open a new post reply box.

Will share a little secret Max. From my understanding the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Sunshine Cst are closed shops controlled by the few. I am uncertain if this extends to Bris Metro but have had spot on info over the years relating to likely favoured losers at these tracks.  The information i have had from these areas as to likely outcomes over the last 10 years has been very valueable

Max, today's meeting at Ipswich is one of the worst I can remember in the last 10 years. You could beat most of them on foot. Just awful races and bad horses. Anyone who is betting on them todday must have rocks in their heads or little respect for the dollar.

Got a bad feeling about the joint, Judge,  other Southern Qld tracks appear business as usual. I think I know who the most important person on a track is as regards integrity, won't expand on that though.

Max, I get the impression that you live in the Brisbane area. If you do and you want to know what to do just PM me and I'll give you my phone number to talk you through it.

It is easy once you do it a few times.  emthup

There's a top-line meeting on tomorrow at SC for those who were shy about Royal Ipswich today.

The $25,000 distance race is the highlight of the card. :/

Just wondering how many of these are put on at the metro mid-week meetings. :unsu
