Another RVL race that should not be run

............. on Saturday, at Flemington, there are three races to be run over the notorious 1400 m distance.

Race 7, nominally a G3 'set weights and penalties' event for 3yro C&G, has 16 starters .........half the field is first-up frpm a spell ............. half the field have had only four starts on average ........... six starters have pre-post SPs of 20/1+ (3 are 100/1+)

Why would RVL run this race in their Autumn carnival as a leg of the main quadrella?

What do you think will happen?

Corrupted racing is corrupted racing --- sensible punters would not bet

.............. studying the form is of no use when RVL salts the course with 'land mines' ........... deliberate interference intended to inflate turnover with random race outcomes.

Why would a racing administrator resort to a tactic that degrades its reputation .... and mocks its (faux) concern for 'integrity'

Imagine the outcome of the Victorian racing industry being 'Bergined' ...... akin to the findings against Crown.

Is RVL working towards the sale of Tabcorp's racing business ............ at a price reflecting the inflation of fields?

If so ........ would an overseas operator further degrade metropolitan racing in Victoria?

Good pick up Rats   emthup

Pete seeing most races are run via a BM or class system to define eligibility can you explain in more depth how horses who are qualified as per the criteria should be excluded or are you insinuating RV is corrupt?

Please clarify your position or edit your post to remove such an accusation.

I get why Pete is on the bandwagon, let's just say Pete is a "little different" from the rest, normally that isn't a bad thing but Pete is obsessed with himself, I just don't get why so many are pumping up his tires??
This "discussion" has been going on for more than 2 years, it was a stupid discussion from day dot, it has been boooorrriinng from day dot, anyone who thinks they are going to win a point is as deluded as Pete, every time I come back here this is near the top of the pops, it and discussions like it will kill this forum, Pete is a cancer(sorry Pete) and he will bring down all those who interact with it, that's what cancer does.....but why won't this discussion just DIE??.....or get some Chemo!

Weaponising Willie Pike,

..................... sandgropers, knocking off the money,  are exposing the demise of metropolitan racing in Victoria .................

This would once have been an invitation to 'state sponsored care'.
