MATES RATES BETTING IS HANDICAPPED
In the normal course, most-punters will find the going hard betting on the 'standalones' for the two next Saturdays at Cranbourne, Newcastle, Ballaratt and Kembla.
Regional clubs, offered a day in the racing sunlight, cannot help themselves in going for broke with inflated-field programs that will burn most punters.
Most-punters cannot help themselves ------- diligently doing the form before betting on the assumption that the races will be run fairly.
When it is unlikely that the races will actually run fairly, doing the form will usually be a waste of time.
Shaping up to a standalone day, a good strategy for a few mates in a pub would be to keep the 'pool' in-house and share the proceeds based on the relative success of their selections.
Sadly, even on days when they know that they are all most likely to lose, the mates still give all the money away.
............. and Gintara is probably right ... someone would be jealous that one of his 'mates' walks away with 'his' cash .......... even so a few mates should be able to cope with a trial over the next two Saturdays.
It would be a wise move.
