After endless periods of frustration at the new TAB site, I have to say the site is definitely the worst site for gambling in Australia. I am still at a loss to understand how the TAB can constantly stuff o/s form or ask their customers to clean their cache to bet or access the form. Even today, I get error messages when I click on the form through the TAB site or get the slow wheel of death. The biggest ads for corporate betting is not the ads we hear on radio, TV, internet etc but the TAB website with it's problems.
The TAB forum members are stating we should be cleaning the cache but no other websites require that to access info, logins etc including the major banks etc. The reasoning behind cleaning the cache is flawed as it should only happen on a periodical basis and not every day at times as I have to do to access form at times. The view is the customer is wrong and the TAB is right. Let us not even mention the media centre which has been mentioned regularly on this forum and yet no fully fixed. I am also ignoring the number of times the TAB Form staff get surfaces wrong at times on international meetings.
The TAB would be better off if it reverts back to it's old website and get back to the basics i.e. make it easier to bet. If the corporates ever get a licence to bet retail like the tab, the quicker the TAB may listen to it's customers instead of sticking the poor punters with such a disappointing site.
