Gidday Wily , I dont do NSW form , but you tweaked my interest so I had a squiz at said trial .... she went the same time as Lucys Cash which finished 2nd to Romanus on a wet track at Rosehill since the trial .... Lucys Cash saved a ton of ground in the trial and was ridden out hands and heels .... those two heats did go the best of the 2yo's that day , but not by a huge amount..... Your fancy Suzy Rocks beat 4 first starters most of whom raced quite greenly, and I don't agree Suzy was "hard held" , she was ridden out hands and heels just as much as Lucys Cash ....I dont see any reason to get overly excited by the trial other than to say , the beaten 4 runners can't be backed at this stage .... Unless you can tell me that Lucys Cash had light shoes on and Suzy had Heavy??? ...... I wont be backing her particularly now that you have told us she has been spruiked by the media ! ..... But good luck to ya mate,it's just a trial, dont let me stop you backing her ! (I dont even know/or care what she is racing against)

Whilst on the subject , can anyone tell me if there is a site to access shoe reports of NSW trials ? .. We can do so in Qld , and I find the reports crucial in determining the merit of a trial ! I know they wear different plates in Sydney , surely that information can be attained online somewhere ? ........ Anyone have a clue ?

this was interesting Wily ..... from another area of this site :

 Arsenal Writes ...
P.Robl on Lucy's Cash Sat at Rosehill kept flogging her with the whip and should have realised she was switching the tail in pain and lugging out but he's apparently a slow thinker  as soon as he straightened her and he 's out with the whip again and same reaction from Lucy .Should have won imo.Stewards noticed and gave it a mention in their report but no penalty.apart from the little embarrasment such a public outing may have caused this excuse for a jockey. Thumb Down
When questioned, P
Robl, rider of Lucy’s Cash, stated that the filly was inclined to lay out when placed under pressure
in the straight, which necessitated him having to stop riding with the whip and straighten on a
number of occasions. He said when struck with the whip inside the 200m Lucy’s Cash appeared
to particularly resent this and shifted out abruptly approaching the 100m. P Robl agreed with
Stewards that, in hindsight, he should have desisted from using the whip on the filly when it
became obvious that it reacted adversely to its use.
Bud it was his 1st ride back in 2months he was desperate

thanks DaJudge.............. so is it policed in some way ? .... or does nobody really care what shoes they wore ? .............. If it is policed , there should be a report somewhere ? .... If it isn't policed , we have no idea what shoes are worn, therefore the answer is "who knows, ask the trainer"?
