I had a mate who is a pretty big NFL punter - He hasn't been banned but did have his bet size reduced .

Doesn't make sense to me, surely they could just lay off all his action.

I'm told their fixed odds horse markets are an accurate gauge, haven't taken much notice myself.

I wish they could program the thing so it shows the correct starting times.
Bendigo R1 is on at 12.30pm but Luxbet is showing 11.00am NT time

OL, were you logged in at the time? I know if you are not logged in it defaults to NT time.

I got the $20 top up as well, I'll take anything I can get  :)

I just received a telephone call from them chasing up account holders that haven't used them for a while.
He asked me if i've given up the punt, i said no i'm punting with others that give me better odds

He offered 10% on any deposit in next 9 days to be used as a free bet, turn over 4 times ya keep the stake.

Might put in 50k and see if I can turn over the 5k 4 times, if I lose i'll withdraw the 50k

OL,

I got the same call. I put a very small deposit into Luxbet and received the 10% into the account very promptly. I was happy to use them on the weekend because they are currently offering BOB ... Best of the Best: you get the better price of top fluc and best tote. It's a good deal. A few others are offering it at present: CentreBet are one and I know that Tom Waterhouse offers it to his clients.

If you get the best odds, it makes it easier to win!!!

Rad

PS  Note that Top Fluc is not quite was it was, but it is still good for favoured horses, I reckon.

Yeah, I'm comfortable betting early with my top bets of the day ... so I used it for More Joyous (   ), Cat's Whisker (   ) and a couple of other winners .... plus several losers too  (:bleh:) lol

Agree with those quite short, but also agre that Top Fluc is not what it used to be, especially for the Sat and some mid week meetings. With the amount of money now bet pre post if something is either well backed at fixed prices, or at Top Fluc the rings keep them very very safe and hold the potential top fluc back as best they can.

Luxbet appear quite different from the tote fixed odds at times and seem to differ a bit from the actual official market call by a roll of the board at times ... they sometimes give a roll of the board 'over'.

... and by the way, good one Andy ... things haven't changed all that much, mate ... still more losers than winners. Then again, if I can keep at around 35% or so winners, that's enough.

Luxbet is a joke - we all know it. What a shame these toothless tigers masquerading as journalists can't write articles on it. Someone ought to be done for a conflict of interests.

They're the only on-line bookies offering fixed-odds for Toowoomba cushion, but they're not serious.
R1 was 162%, other races averaged about 150%  emthdown

Yes, disgraceful.  But it's another indication of the (lack of) interest by serious punters in Cushion racing on Saturday nights.

At least Betfair remains a fair option.  emthup
