No more racing at Moonee Valley?

After a disgraceful 'racing abandoned' day at the Vale of Tears .............. the media silence about the suitability of the track has been deafening.

........does no one in the 'racing media' take the feed from the butterfly.......... are they unable to say anything?

Does RVL have to wait for rain in late October to wreck the plate-day run by these crocks?

..... no replacement with another bodgie track ............ just sell the shop ?

I love Moonee Valley because it is different.

I live about 10km east of the Valley and it was relatively fine here while it was bucketing down at the valley.  However over the next 24 hours I estimate about 100mm of rain fell over my backyard.  So lucky we weren't racing there on Sunday.

Please don't "feed the ducks".

Next thing we'll have a Moonee Valley thread that is endless pages of incomprehensible sentences about the track, RVL, Quadrella dividends and some other themes I've already forgotten about.

The tipping point is looming for the Valley .........

I can find no evidence that the rain on Saturday was a deluge of Vanderhum significance.

..................... RVL is now betting the Valley track on the chance of rain in late October............. maybe they want to sell it rather than wasting money that will be spent more sensibly on other things.

When I told you on Tuesday to stay well clear of the Vale on Saturday it was on the money.

Generally ........staying well clear of the Vale ........is very sensible advice for punters.

..........no more racing should be conducted on a track known to be defective.

Imagine if old Pete had his way, Humidor who hasn't won for over 700 days and started $18 wouldn't have even been allowed to start.
