Why can't we get quaddie approximates on course in Qld?     :thumbsd:

I had the first 3 legs of the unitab quaddie up today but couldn't get the approximates print out.

If I'm punting from home the approximates are on the unitab site but for some reason not on course.

Missed out on the quaddie but its nice to know what you may get before the race.

Is this the case at the Brisbane metro tracks, or you referring to GC yesterday??

No dd it happened at Doomben last week as well as the coast yesterday.

Why they can't give a print out from the unitab site on cource is beyond me.

The approximates are still up on the unitab site this morning but thats no value at all for on course patrons.

I've really enjoyed playing around with quadies lately but it would be nice  to know what return I may or may not get for my investment.

Thanks, and I don't think it's an unreasonable request.  You don't know how long I fought to get trebles available - that was in the days when I occasionally got one. :nowink:

Will see what can be done.  Something to remember - the on-course totes are run by TABCORP, rather than UNiTAB.

There might one day be the case where the metro Clubs are like any other Qld TAB agency.  It ain't a simple switch, believe me.

Purely as an aside...these days I don't bother looking to see my approximates.  I find it's a tad less painful.  And I know all the reasons that ya wanna lay off, etc, etc.

That makes it more peculiar because you can  definately obtain quaddie approximates on track in other states.

Thanks dd we'll see what can be done.

With modern technology as it is today how difficult would it be for all Qld racetracks to have access to internet services where if tote staff can't or won't bother to check then patrons can log onto unitab site and check approximates for trebles ,quaddies and anything else worth checking.?

Just off topic a little, but are you permitted to take a laptop onto the course these days?

You can tell I don't go often anymore.

Grats I don't see too many if any where I hang out.

Eagle farm has a touch screen in the members bar(may have them elsewhere as well) which is great for getting flucs, prices, state by state.  Very easy to use and very convenient.   The only thing it doesn't do is find you the next winner.   :)

But the other States' on-course TABs wouldn't be giving UNiTAB divvies....that's what Mono is requesting....unless I'm reading incorrectly.

I understand that, but it means they have the functionality and it is a service they provide elsewhere.

mono - the mail is;

technical issue at unitab end is preventing accurate information being relayed to on course. Unitab working to fix the issue and as soon as that is resolved approx divs will be displayed by tabcorp on course staff

will send a note when that has occurred
