I often wonder why RVL place so much emphasis on prizemoney....do they get the bang for their buck??
Today i will bet at Doomben where each race 13k , Mnt Gambier 6k..........and you guessed it sandown, 7 races at 30k a piece i won't be having a bet......in fact the last race is a jumpers flat.......i believe brisbane/mnt gambier to be superior in depth greater value..............but racing for a fraction of the cost.
I realize it is good for the owners but the actual reality is the horses turn up anyway.....the last at sandown should be at Moe in July.........Wednesday last leg of quaddie.....what a disgrace......

Jumpers flat ?

Is that the opposite of a quarter horses stamina test that we constantly see in  Queensland ?

The best race meeting on today is Ascot by a furlong, nine races with good fields at $20k per race.

It is a pity that these Perth Midweek programs are often far better than their Saturday programs where lack of starters is an issue. They should follow the Queensland lead and only put up Provincial stakes and a provincial program for their midweeks.

Yeah probably Woody and there will be one for Maiden class worth $100 K at the first meeting of the BRC on the 4th July.

You would think the richer the race, the better the quality of animal competing, the more reliable the form would be ?

The problem with the Melbourne Cup as an example is the fact that most are unproven at the trip and class and trip.

Surely there is more than 5.5 lengths + 1 or 2 kilos difference between a group 2 race and race 2 at Sandown today ?

I hate that world famous quote "this is one of the hardest races to win"
Whatever race it is, there will be a winner. I just can't understand that when that phrase is quoted  :/
